giving defoliation during flower a try

Hey UncleBen! This is off topic but it won't let me PM you. Have you gone by the handle "tapla" on gardenweb? If not some dude stole your "super thrive or superjive" post literally word for word and made it seem like his own. Pure fuckery

    cali connection blackwater...boo!

I think most breeders attempt to achieve this at some point. Some like sannie will be transparent about the generation of cross there are currently in but most don't. That doesn't mean it's not a constant work in progress. I for one know, that if I decided to tackle the industry, it would do...

    cali connection blackwater...boo!

I actually don't see a problem. The cannabis market has a definite demand for feminized seed, so why wouldn't a breeder cross two or more solid phenos to create fems? Btw, we all love to assume that we are talking about S1 stock, but chances are, these seeds have gone through many back crosses...

Is it ok to put seedlings straight into 5 gal buckets?

MJtheindicator is right. Root growth is pretty rapid and vigorous under the proper conditions.

Is it ok to put seedlings straight into 5 gal buckets?

I absolutely agree, though planting directly into your finishing pot will work and be less of a hassle. Just be sure to water VERY lightly as that tiny plant will have a tough time wicking enough water up to get fresh oxygen into the soil. And never plant 2 inches deep. That's just ridiculous...

    put canna oil in coffee?

I know this thread is for oil but I try to keep 3 extracts available at all times. Cannabutter, thc infused oil (typically olive oil), and thc infused everclear. With these three, I can incorporate pot into just about any food/drink. Just be sure to decarb the weed first before making any of...

    nute burn, cutting affected leaves

Btw when you "flush" , or leach the soil in botanical terms, just run tap water through your medium at 2x the amount of soil. So say your in a two gallon pot, slowly run 4 gallons through it. That should get rid of any salt (nutrient) buildup. After that wait a half hour or so and give it a...

    nute burn, cutting affected leaves

Your plants aren't going to die. Yield will be hurt but if you balance out the feeding they'll be fine

Looking for 8 weeks or less flowering strains (tested at 8, not advertised at 8)

Just my .02.... Not everything is pure potency. I've not gone the auto route often but I can say none I've tried is terrible smoke. Sometimes honestly I don't need or want to be high as a kite (RIP Kitehigh). You won't be winning the cannabis cup with auto genes... But they have their place. I...

Looking for 8 weeks or less flowering strains (tested at 8, not advertised at 8)

How is the gene pool being ruined? The only problem I've ever noticed is the loss of great highs in exchange for bag appeal

I'm running the female C99 right now. Extremely vigorous plant. I'll post some pics and a report in this thread once she's done

    nute burn, cutting affected leaves

Coco is considered a soilless substrate and acts like a hydroponic set up would such as if you were using rock wool. Nice thing about coco is you can water it as you would soil. I've never grown in coco so I would suggest asking someone more well versed to find out any of the nuances only...

    nute burn, cutting affected leaves

Itsjustme84 the link posted is exactly the type of stuff I'm talkin about. In fact it's mistly where I learned from. There's no pure nitrogen product I can think of. My advice would be to just use a different product for you next feeding. I learned that 3-1-2 is a good ratio. There are plenty...
