just wondering on average how long you dry the buds before you start the curing process? doesnt have to be exact I know when the outside of the bud is crispy and the stem bends but doesnt break but on average how long in a drying box would it take?

I gotcha I recomend getting a good exhaust fan and exhaust all of the hot air from the top of your grow area into your attic or just outta the grow box....it should take your temps down you also need a way to exhchange fresh air or the plants will get oxygen bound....

my temps are high also could never quite get them right they run about 75-80 all the time and my plants are find id say if they start going over 85 open your setup and let some air in....do you have an exhaust on your setup? its a must

I had the same problem with the plant I grew in my crested gecko tank was small and smelled of pine...then cured and smelled like hay....

I beg to differ....my 400W without a cooltube just vented with a 250cfm fan and passive intake the temps shot up to almost 98!!!! my grow area is 3x6x3 i HAD to put a cooltube on it or it wouldnt be possible....now with the cooltube temps stay 74-80

hps will be fine all the way through....even tho MH is better for veg and hps is better for flowering you can use a MH to flower tho you wont get the results you would with the HPS...just go on ebay and find a cheap cooltube reflector and re-wire it yourself if youve ever taken any electronics...
