thanks, i only have 4 20w cfls in my house at the moment... and i dont really wonna buy more. all my money now is gonna go to ventilation. but yea ill start some seeds off with those cfls then switch em to the 600w when i get some good old ventilation. thanks for help. +rep.

and i still have more questions. :) a single bedroom is big enough for a 600w? how many plants? if i was to do what hulk said, how much taller would the room have to be andd how high should i have the light?

okok but this is what im saying.. im moving house in 3 weeks or so... if there is a spare room or closet that is big... all i need is some fans in there or do i still need some big air ducts and stuff?

Guys i need to know how i can minimize heat in my growroom without paying lots of cash. I have a 600w hps and actually didnt think of the heat it would make. I have no more cash after buying this and i cant grow anything cos my rooms to hot! this is the DIY section... HELP ME OUT!

here are pics... two small cut holes in the back that dont do anything cos they are up against the walls (my only vent). can ya transform this into a good area?

I have just bought a 600w hps... with no where to grow... i had it all planned out and set up in the bottom half of a wardrobe. untill i hooked it up and saw that it was melting the fan in there i had to cool it. I guess i wonna know.. since i dont have the money for big extraction fans + i cant...
