    Is this soil mix OK?

Sorry, but I disagree. Plants do not need any nutrients whatsoever the first 2 weeks. In my plant physiology class we did experiments on this.. and all plants have enough nutrients from their seeds for the first 14 days.. If you don't believe me germ a bean in a paper towel with no nutrients...

    Is this soil mix OK?

MM, don't wanna disseminate bad info, but flushing with 3x the volume of the soil is overkill in his case.. You only wanna flush like that when you're about to harvest or if you have nute burn. Sorry for the confusion.

    with seedling do you guys

The best way to germ a bean is to drop it in distilled water for 12-16 hours, then put in a wet paper towel...

    Is this soil mix OK?

Well, yes, I would flush once. Watch your pH afterwards though. Remember your seedlings don't need any nutrients the first 2 weeks after they germ.

Can a plant 5 weeks in bloom revert back to veg

Em... this is a tough one.. If your colas and popcorn buds got burnt, then you're in trouble. And 5 weeks into flowering! Sucks. I dunno if you can save this one or not. I need pics.

    Is this soil mix OK?

A few gallons of water if you are working with 3 gallon containers... To flush you run about the same amount of water as there is volume in your containers.

Can a plant 5 weeks in bloom revert back to veg

How old are your plants, and how long have they been in flower? If they are only a couple weeks into flower, I would reveg them (turn the cycle back to 20/4) until they have a lot of foliage, and then reflower. You run the risk of making them hermie, but vegging them is the best way to get them...

Is it possible to grow using regular light bulb?

Don't grow under regular light bulbs, even for a little while. It can work... sometimes, but it doesn't give enough of the right wavelength spectrum necessary for photoysnthesis I and II. CFL's are cheap and good. Use at least 60 watts for each plant.

Woke up to my plant gone! Dog ate it!

Hey brother! Haven't heard from you since your 9 foot demon lol. I thought we were gonna do a grow together, what happened? Shoot me a message.

    In Training

Please post pics of them so I can see how they're drooping. Also what do you mean 'perk in the flowers?' They are only two weeks old. My guess is that they're being overwatered. I only water my plants when the soil is completely dry an inch and a half under the top of the soil. Any more...

Early veg state...watering is compressing the soil...add more soil?

Ah if it's miracle grow definitely hold off on the nutes. Sorry I forgot from your earlier post that it was MG. I prefer growing in a low nute soil, because then I have more control on the nutrients.. You probably have a slow-release nutrient mix, which is fine, but not my cup of tea. It's...

    Yield Expected?

the 'holy grail' is one gram per watt of light. Use MH for veg, HPS for flowering. You can do the whole grow with MH, but i wouldn't reccomend the whole grow with HPS. You'll get more yield with a taller plant, good nutrient balance, and using techniques such as scrogging, lsting, topping...

Early veg state...watering is compressing the soil...add more soil?

Well my friend they look very good to me. The soil looks good too, I wouldn't worry about it compressing, there will still be plenty of oxygen for the roots. In a few days you may wanna give it a very small amount of nutes to get it to grow a little faster. Good luck =)

They look beautiful to me... no stretching and healthy. Props. How old are they?

21 days from seed how do they look???

Hey haven't read the whole thread yet, but you don't need to give any nutes whatsoever to the seedlings the first two weeks - they get all the nutrients they need in this time from their seed pod that they germinated from.

    White Widow Frost

So, I've posted this question several times, in several sections of RIU, and no one has answered me  My WW ladies are in week 6 of their flowering stage, and will probably take another 6 weeks to fully develop. I see trichomes on the bud leaves, but not on the buds themselves. When will...

    First time clones. . . . .

Try to keep the clones with at least 2 true nodes.. otherwise they'll grow pretty slow.

    Does anybody else do this?

I like sitting at my comp, playing online games and refreshing the newbie part of the forum for new posts, and answer them all. =D
