    Intake/Exhaust Window Panel? Need Help

I think, just like me and others, we like to see pics to compare and get ideas from what others are doing. For example, you saw tons of pictures before you started this that has helped you build a better grow. I hate doing the picture stuff but I do it to help others, and maybe others can help me.

    Help A Newb Make Decisions

SupMar, can you post a pic or two of the set up. I like to watch and compare. You can check my set up also, it cannot handle a 600w but a lot of CFL's are in there, almost 600watts worth of CFL's. Indica grew very well with the CFL in this setup, A Sativa strain came out too airy (fluffy). It...

    Exhaust or Intake in room?

Option number 2, and keep in mind, if you are exhausting that air outside scometimes the Filter will wear out and you won't even notice. So, periodically during flowering stages, exhaust your air into the bedroom and check to see if the filter is doing its job. Trust me, you don't want that...

    Exhaust or Intake in room?

I feel that intake will cost more money, more fans to push that air out. As for exhaust, you just need one Fan pulling all the air out. Another note, intake might push some of the smell out of the grow area through the cracks, if it is stealthy. As for exhaust, it will pull the smell out of...

Which placement is better for a carbon filter?

If you want to push air out of it, then you should look into a carbon scrubber. A Scrubber will need a stronger Fan though, with higher CFM ratings.

Which placement is better for a carbon filter?

You're right, I also read plenty of times that pushing air through the filter will cause it to wear out faster. I also read on many sites that A carbon scrubber is used to push air out of. The carbon filter is used to pull air from. These aren't facts but from months of reading, researching...

Thanks Essex, the screen worked wonderful, I didn't even think of that. Thank You. It proved to work. One day the exhaust Fan was turned off by accident. There is no screen on the exhaust and a couple of white flies got into the grow, through the exhaust duct. I made 2 huge rectangular...

The Spray Adhesive didn't work out that well in the long run. It started to just fall off slowly, it is still stuck on now with some tape.

I was thinking so much on converting my medium to a bubbler like that, but after putting so much work and money on this project, I don't even want to reconstruct or spend any more money. I have so much hydroton rocks, and sure waste a lot of nutrients in that big reservoir. Your bubbler setup...

Bonzi, I read Plants need a lot of oxygen in a DWC, the more bubble in that water the better. Go to a local pet store and get some rocks that make plenty of bubbles. Just some info if you need it.

Growdrobe - Pics of ongoing project to convert a wardrobe into a grow area

I scrogged the grow and broke the main stem on one of the plants. The main stem was completely broken, just hanging by a piece of skin from the stem. I taped her back together with Magic Tape, and she recovered. I can't believe she stuck back together like she did. I used organic nutrients for...

You are absolutely right. I cut more than just holes. I cut a long rectangular hole across the entire bottom. Light does not leak from one chamber to the other from the back. And there is a whole lot of air flow. I just kept cutting untill I felt it was good enough, I mean till the pressure of...

I have been thinking the last two weeks... 1. Should I just continue on with the SCRoG screen and grow? 2. Should I SoG this and forget the whole screen? I do not want to deal with too many clones as I will be cutting from plant just about to go into flower. So SoG would probably not be good...

Growdrobe - Pics of ongoing project to convert a wardrobe into a grow area

This is what the Wardrobe looks like after closing it. Very Stealthy. The only problem with the locks are that the doors can still be pulled open. After I pull the door with the locks on, I can see inside. Just a bit but enough to see what is in there. I do not like that. Stealth but...
