    First harvest!

Yeah sorry, 28grams would be an ounce, my bad. (Blazing with bad math equal odd equations). And as for the 20%, read the post. "Some say you lose 20% some say you lose 50% but on average of my yields ive only lost 40% of weight after drying/proper curing. Guess depends on your method "...

    First harvest!

An Oz. is 24grams. Im pretty sure you wont lose 84grams from drying. Some say you lose 20% some say you lose 50% but on average of my yields ive only lost 40% of weight after drying/proper curing. Guess depends on your method

    Roots showing...

I checked, they are 3 gallon containers. I put them to 12/12 when I transplanted so, basically it took a week for them to dig roughly 9 inches to the drainage holes. I checked again this morning and now all the plants have roots showing out of the drainage holes. Should I stress, or will the...

    Roots showing...

I transplanted 1 week ago from 4x4 square to a 3 liter (could be gallon) pot. The roots are already sprouting out of the drainage holes at the bottom. Should I try to push them back in, or did I choose too small of a pot? They are only 1-1.5' tall. (feet)

I have the same problem with my FFOF. Been in it a week (one of my clones) and already has nute burn. No nutes added, PH proper lvl in water too.

Fox Farms Ocean Forest, 09 is a new year

Using it right now. Nutes are a little off balance. Used for side by side comparisons and alone, it did minor nute burn on established clones. Also it does drain EXTREMELY fast with nothing added. I think the makers are now just mass producing and not caring about how much of what they are...

what should i add to my fox farms ocean forest????

Im using Ocean forest right now. I did some side by side comparisons. By itself it holds water VERY good. On the one with 1 perlite, 2 Ocean forest, the drainage is more than enough and it still holds water extremely well. And the one with vermiculite, perlite and soil is just too much water...

Wondering if there is a problem, only 1 leaf.

I found a couple leaves that looks like deficiencies or over nute but they are only in Foxfarm Ocean Forest + perlite. Thats it, no nutes have been given yet. One leaf is light on outside edge but green in middle. I know I can find what it is on the pages but its only 1 leaf. ANd the other...

    What sized pot. Beginner.

It depends on the space you have and how big you want the plant. Dont use a 5gal unless you have a minimum of 5-6ft you can use if needed. If you dont plan on going above 3 ft, dont use any size bigger than a 3gal. Saves time, money, soil, water and other problems when wet soil doesnt get used...

Not a newb but need help

I recently transplanted my girls 4 days ago. They also were put on 12/12 timer the same day. I used Foxfarm Ocean Forest with perlite added. Gave them a good water and let them go. Questions are: Since they were recently transplanted how wet should I keep the soil? Also with the ocean...

Diff Age plants in 12/12 leafs pointing upwards???

They are fine. THey most likely are just stretching for the light. If you slightly push down on the leaf stems it will straighten them out and also build the joint fatter where the buds r coming out. Doesnt look like you have anything to worry about. Just vigorous growth

New to growing, on tight budget, whats the cheapest way to start

It can be as cheap as you want it to be. You dont need anything fancy for a plant to grow. Water, soil and light will make a complete grow. BUT If your going to do it, you should spend a little to make it the best you can. The BEST "Cheapest" way to grow is first do research! Find what you can...

Hows this for a first grow

Nah man. I saw it and cried. Im sad this happened to you. BUT you were doing extremely well. That stalk was just bursting with rigidity I see. That means you did well with the nutes you supplied. Keep up the good work and next time, supercrop or "pinch" BEFORE you get it too big. Peace

    !!!growing It!!!

Alright check it. . . Aside from all the let downs of the constant replies with only half helping. FIRST: Soil, PH should NEVER be around 8-9. You want your soil/nute solution PH to be between 6-7 with makes the nutes readily available for the plant to digest. This is one of the main reasons...

Question About New Growth & Buds

You probly wont see HUGE bud sights with a 250 but usually depends on the strain, nutrients, temps, pot size, how big the plant is, how old the bulb is. . . Anyhow week 5-6 is when my previous set up of 150w started to fill up. So could possibly be around the same time, but there are a lot of...
