    Electrical questions

What makes your breaker "questionable?" In my opinion, questionable breaker + 600 watts = pending disaster. Please give more details! A malfunction won't happen with your light, per se, it will happen with that breaker. Depending on what's wrong with it, and the surrounding wiring, it could...

    Gram per watt. With cfl's

To get one gram per watt, you'd have to make sure SO many factors line up into place (expensive), that it would defeat the purpose of using CFL lighting. It would then be more efficient and cost-effective at that point, to use HPS, Metal Halides, etc.

    100w cfl cupboard scrog

How often do you water your seedling? It looks like your soil may either not be draining properly, or the plant could be over watered. I say this because the leaves are drooping downward, which usually happens with seedlings if they are retaining too much water. It looks a nice, healthy green...

Humic Acid? Is it worth it, what does it do?

WOW! Sounds like a lot of nutrients. What is the benefit for using these nutrients all at the same time? Do you think it's more "marketing hype" than actually necessary? Or is there a certain "thing" that one of the particular nutes does for your plants/buds? I use Dyna-Gro Foliage Pro, Epsom...

    Carpet fuzz on buds..

You got it! Panty hose over the intake vent! I actually use a "Hepa" filter-type cloth over my ducting. That definitely stops the fuzz dead in its tracks. Panty hose will work the same way. Then, when I open up my tent for whatever reason, I turn off my ventilation fan so it doesn't suck up...

    What's wrong with my plants?

From the looks of the leaves, I will say it's definitely over-fertilizing. What kind of nutrients are you feeding your plant and how much are you using? I also see what could be a bit of cal/mag deficiency, but it's hard to say without more specific information. Did you leaves gradually turn...

Barney's tangerine dream anyone have experience with this plant?

I have no experience with Tangerine Dream. I'm growing a Barney's LSD now (clone of a clone of a clone), I haven't updated my journals since last year, since not many people were following, so my last two grows/harvests aren't on here. I do know from experience, that some of Barney's seeds...

Few questions on my Blue Mystic ScrOG!

What he said. Also, the bud sites don't use the light; the surrounding foliage absorbs the light and converts it into the various forms of food, etc, that the plant needs. The buds being exposed to light helps with resin production and hence potency, but the flowers don't need the direct light...

    switching to 12s

I found that my plants "respond" well to 72 hours of darkness. After 3 days of no light, the plant's "structure" changes a bit as the plant orients itself to start flowering. Not really sure what the difference is between the two techniques, but giving the plants a 3-day rest gives them a...

    Simple Lighting Questions :)

Hey there! It's hard to give estimates to help you along without seeing your setup. So I'll just try to "wing it!" Do you have a reflector for the additional CFLs? I would recommend using 2 x 100 watt bulbs, to cover more distance, at the expense of intensity. If you use one 200-watt bulb...

have i turned to flower to early

With the exception of fimming your plant without giving it time to "recover" before putting it into flowering, I don't see anything wrong with what you did. I usually flower within 30-45 days from seed.

How can seed sellers be trusted?

Depending on how the feminized seed was made, it's possible that the hermaphrodite tendency could be passed on to the offspring (seeds). Regular seeds are "said" to hermie less, on average, than feminized seeds. It's also speculated that feminized seeds are more susceptible to display hermie...

    Trying to understand PH

Shagnum peat is considered "soil less," so your PH is around what works for that medium. In my experience, 5.8-5.9 works very well as a range to keep PH in soil less. But as Oceanside said, check PH after you water because the runoff might be different than the PH of what you put in.

    My 12/12 from seed update

Looking green and healthy from what I can see! Can I ask, how much CFL wattage are you giving it? It appears the plant may be stretching a bit for more light, but I could wrong.

Making hash out of immature plants?

How far along were your plants when you chopped them? That will pretty much be the deciding factor. Since they have noticeable trichomes, they of course will be good to make hash; the question is--how potent will it be? That depends on how "mature" the THC was when you chopped, among other things.
