hydro set up for 1 huge plant

Was watching this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oq72SW_I2qo - Last night. Might fit your needs. It's not scrog and it is with two plants, but he does show you how to build the system. You could easily modify it to suit your needs. From my own experiments, more bubbles makes a huge difference...

    first time outdoor

Depends on what you want to do. If your interested in natural control, try growing some tall grass away from your plants, they would much rather be in tall grass. Spores of the protozoan Nosema locustae are commercially available as a formulation on bran bait (called Semaspore...

    cutting leaves off

Don't cut them all off, they are needed for growth. It's OK to trim a few off here and there for allow lower areas to get more light. I make tea out of mine. :)

    clone question fam

The old saying "Save money, clone with honey" is true. Never heard of cinnamon though. I've cloned with honey, and Clonex. I get more roots with Clonex, but honey works quite well also. Edit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xjC9aybFA5s

How is my plant doing? When should I start flowering?

You really need more than just a grow light, you will also need some sort of carbon filter for the smell - when flowering starts. As Guido suggested, get yourself some books, or at least learn some more first. Those plants have a ways to go, so you have time.

Can I change flowering time to vice versa?

Maybe just switch over a few hours at time? Don't know if that will have any major effects, but I would imagine it will be less dramatic.

About to start flowering - Considering LEDs for future grows.

Good point. I didn't even think about that. Just saw the amount of sales and figured there must be something with these (word of mouth maybe..). I know nothing about LED setups other than they use way less electricity and hardly any heat. Supposedly, the important specs as far as I know are...

About to start flowering - Considering LEDs for future grows.

I'm about to start flowering tonight, but having 2 HID Setups, my flowering room get's too hot if I my veg room is also running at the same time. So... considering LEDs for the veg room in the future. These have sold very well =...

    Help please

Looks like a burn to me. Most likely some water remained on the leaf(s) and the light burned them. If it's not spreading, I would not worry too much. Just watch the misting, or mist when the lights are off.

    Need help with lighting

You can get a complete setup rather cheap on ebay, Ballast and all. I suggest a digital one personally. But as others have stated, don't wire that directly, you will regret it. Be safe!

    Choosing a room to grow

The number of plants depends on the size of the cupboard, also depends on the strain. Not to mention Sativa/Indica differences. Sativa's tend to grow taller, while Indica's grow shorter and more bushy. All this can be controlled with topping, LST, SCROG etc, so is less of a concern. As far as...

    question about cuttings

I'm gonna need you to remember that magic. :) Always interested in experimenting.

    Unbelievable!

Another thing, you'll want to put that clone a in dome of some sort, if you don't have one use the bottom half of a milk jug (cut the top off) and spray it 2-3 times a day. And breath into the dome and cover it up again, that way the plant gets some C02.

    Unbelievable!

They are very resilient, I've done worse and they survived. Don't stress. Although I don't suggest a sponge for the accidental clone. Get yourself some rockwool if you can. It's rather cheap. Sponge might work though, I might be wrong there. I have gotten some clones recently in some sort of...

    question about cuttings

Just a thought that occurred to me, is the mother already flowering? If so any clones you take from her will also be in flowering stage. Perhaps I read your original post wrong, but just sounded to me like the mother is already flowering. You should always take clones from a vegging plant if...

If I put a plant 6 weeks into flowering back outside, what will happen?

Exactly. If you do this only do it for about 30-45 minutes at a time to harden them off. My plants go out in the sun on weekends to save electricity. Just be careful, not to go over that 12 hours. Edit: They will also get the benefit of some UBV light. :)

Lumens sq/ft and Sun lumens sq/meter

You can bring the lights closer and you will be just fine, just make sure you're cooling that light. I have a 450CFM intake fan blowing trough my lights, and I also have a standard house fan blowing up towards the glass on the my lights. That last bit alone dropped the temps around 4 degrees.

Lumens sq/ft and Sun lumens sq/meter

from a quick google search: Minimum amount of lighting needed is around 2000 lumens per square foot. (Two – 23 watt CFL’s, per square foot*) Mid range is around 5000 lumens per square foot. (Three - 23 watt CFL’s, per square foot*) Optimal is 7000-7500, or higher, lumens...

Lumens sq/ft and Sun lumens sq/meter

From what I understand, 10,000 lumens per square foot is optimal. But I know people that grow with as little as 5000 and less. Don't stress it so much, I know I was but after I started I found it was not as hard as I thought. IF anything get yourself a light rail if the area is wide. It will...

    ZZ Topping...

This is pretty impressive. Any chance you can explain the method a little more? Or link to the original thread? I have so many clones right now, I have plenty to experiment with once they root. I actually have one that is the left over bottom half that looks allot like what you have. I threw...
