You can do it either way. The hardest part for me is getting the clone to survive. One thing I learned recently is that some plants will show sex in vegetation after they mature. My northern lights from feminized seed is just over 8 weeks in veg and she is showing the little white female hairs.

Probably a stupid question but.. If I add 1/2 teaspon MG 15-30-15 to 2 gallons of tap water it decreases PH from around 8 to around 6. If I go with over 1 teaspoon per 2 gal it decreases PH to 5.0 or lower. If I want to add more nutes? Just add PH up? Thanks

Thanks for the reply. THe only problem I have with HPS would be the hieght of my growing space. It is only 3 feet high and from what I can tell you need to keep HPS farther away from the plants. So, I am going with CFL to maximize growth space.
