GSK at 53 days starting to foxtail (flush time?)

I wait to feel a crispy outside with some spongy feel underneath. I do trim down to sugar leaves after chop then hang. A good cure will help smooth the smoke.

GSK at 53 days starting to foxtail (flush time?)

His talking about flushing in general. I'm in coco, using Canna A&B and have flushed & have not. I don't think the difference is in flushing as much as your routine after the chop. Dry slow and leave moisture for the cure! Good luck!

should you ever de-shell a weed seed

Yep, after germ, just moisten with a drop of clean water & work the casing off. There's a skin that'll be under the shell, if left will hinder growth. Moisten with another drop of water & it'll peel right off also. You are operating on a newborn - handle with care!

    Feeding in coco

He's right, feeding every watering requires less ppm. The roots are getting nutes continuously so a weaker solution is needed. I'm running Canna A&B at 600-700ppm at around 7 weeks from seed. Some people learn through mistakes but you could avoid this one, just start lower than you think.

    Feeding in coco

"Water" with ph'd nute solution every time moisture is needed in the coco! After her roots fill the pot, you'll increase feeding to encourage growth. The roots will start working through a lot more nutes after they get going. Multi feedings a day may be needed depending on the media and...

    Feeding in coco

Treat her like soil until she gets her roots. Water around the edge of your pot. That will encourage roots to explore for moisture and it'll help not overwatering. Let her dry out some between waterings. She'll be fine, just let her do her thing.

    Tips for first grow please!

You could grab a speed controller to turn the big fan down! Reduces noise and still gets the job done.

    Canna Nutrients

Never used it! Supposed to help decay old roots & other stuff to feed the microbes.

    Canna Nutrients

Canna makes good stuff, maybe pricey. Pics would help lots. If green & healthy looking, just "weeping", sounds like overwatering. Been using Canna's coco nutes A&B for some time now but recently received a free sample of Megacrop. Its a one part dry fertilizer. I've never used dry nutes before...

    Tips for first grow please!

Just make sure your tent walls are pulled in, after everything is zipped up. If smell is a problem, use a charcoal filter to "scrub" your smelly inside air into fresh outside air. Most people will pull the air through the filter instead of pushing it through, so you would run filter>fan>exhaust...

Running DTW, what pump are you folks using?

I'm running an Orbit 8 outlet manifold with a Ecoplus 396 pump, also on a short pvc riser, to halos around the plants. At the plant, I used a short length of line & drilled 4 small holes to spray down and attached each end to the tee on the water line. Lines are 6-8 ft length & pump will provide...

    Shroomin with Dick

Just starting to read up & do some broadingthe horizons thing. What's your light setup? I realise 6500k curly cfls will work. Is anything better or multi bulbs for a better spread/intensity? What about distance from chambers/tubs? Didn't you say to noob it up? I hope that was in this this...

    A/C unit making room hotter

Put it in the window, like it's designed for! FYI: A portable ac with a single hose, will create a lot of negative pressure inside the room, but will cool the room. They will also exhaust smell, if that's a problem.

    Temperature Issues

You may try using the 6" duct boost as a intake fan. As long as your sides are pulled in a little, you're good!

    Ventilation in cold shed

Another thing, if you're down below freezing with a warm room inside a cold shed is you'll find every air leak! Condensation forms at all entry points, including outlets! Keep things clean or risk mildew/mold.

    Ventilation in cold shed

I have a two room out building that I use. Grow room (12x9) is insulated, sealed pretty good temperature & humidity controlled. Rest of 12x20 building is not regulated but has two vents. I have one vent with a screen but open, other is exhaust with a 6" fan & charcoal scrubber. Everything outside...
