I've been running 2 lumateks and haven't had any complaints (other than they are a bit warm), but I haven't tried quantum so can't say which is better.

LOL thanks. We aren't talking about just any strain here, we are talking about my only source for my stash too. Don't get me wrong, I think purple is pretty, and if I can get it to show, then I'll try to keep that trait, but I'm not willing to give up something else I care about more for it...

Just a quick update: The Northern Lights/Big bud is a nice bushy critter with good sized buds. The Purple Lady/Blackberry have fewer branches, but beautiful (if green) buds. I'm thinking of forgetting about getting purple from them, and just go for quality green. The plants show some color...
