Been back at growing again what you guys

No such thing. Everyone has their own personal preference. Plus it depends on what you prioritize...yield, quality, taste, easy growing etc What do you typically like to smoke?

    Flipping to flower tomorrow

No, your right. It's hard to find good reliable information, for a variety of reasons. Lot of bro science and nonsense out there. Plus, the reality is there's a lot of right answers. There's not just one way to grow. Your best teacher will be your own failures.

    Flipping to flower tomorrow

Here's 14 girls in 3 gallon pots, organic soil under a 600w HLG Blackbird at 60%. They've been pruned twice so far. Don't be afraid to take a few fan leaves off, it helps with light penetration and air movement. People make a far bigger deal about it stressing the plants than it does in reality...

LEDs can be dimmed no problem, the issues with dimming and spectrum changes is really just with HIDs.

    Flipping to flower tomorrow

Yeah, yield is extremely unpredictable when growing from seed. Just do many variables. Only way to really predict yield is if your running clones of a strain your already familiar with and have your setup completely dialed in. First few indoor grows you should prioritize getting your methods...

    Flipping to flower tomorrow

You guys do realize plants can be different sizes right? Caring about yield per plant without taking into account veg time or size is just nonsense. And especially for newer growers who should be more concerned with getting a healthy plant to the finish line and learning to dry and cure properly.

Old School Skunk, who's found it???

AK Bean Brains has an 80s Skunk that's not skunk #1. It was a freebie, not sure if it made the final cut, it's been a while. I didn't find the ones I ran particularly skunky, more burnt rubber nose, but they were nice plants with great structure. Ran his 80s Skunk Romulan and that was a real...

    Trusted clone vendors on strainly

Testing helps avoidance in home grows, control and elimination on a larger scale is far more complicated. I'm most certainly not the one being obtuse here lol.

    Trusted clone vendors on strainly

Can you cite anything to suggest that cuts from a mom that tested clean for Hop Latent Viroid can still carry and spread the virus, or what threshold people should be looking for here to best ensure the cut is clean? Like, if your knowledgeable on the subject please enlighten us. Right now your...

    Trusted clone vendors on strainly

Testing does tell you the "viral load" present... that's the whole point. Otherwise what are you suggesting they're testing for? Well I'm not testing for anything, I just grow the shit... as for what the vendor is testing for, obviously that varies. You ask all valid questions worth seeking...

    Trusted clone vendors on strainly

Typical RIU, forget answering OPs question, tell him why he's wrong for asking it!! I've had good luck with Auntie Jane's Nursery. They post all their pathogen testing results online and I've never heard of anyone getting a bad cut from them. I've also had good results from Pink Box though some...

Old School Skunk, who's found it???

I'm not saying it's all nostalgia, just that nostalgia makes that old skunkiness smell stronger in our memories than it really was. I've grown or smoked so many "skunk" crosses at this point, many that even claimed to be RKS, and sometimes you get that Skunk spray note, but then some old timer...

Old School Skunk, who's found it???

Well if I'm off base I apologize but the idealized RKS Skunk spray thing everyone is looking for is pretty blatantly not in Skunk #1 or Shiva Skunk, which has been discussed ad nauseum across the cannabis growing community for years and you've been here long enough that I kind of just assumed...

Old School Skunk, who's found it???

Mass Super Skunk is some great smoke but it can actually be kinda finicky in my experience. It definitely wouldn't be my first choice for a field in MA. I'm not 100% sure but I'm fairly certain it's creators we're indoor growers but I can say it definitely wasn't refined over generations to be...

Old School Skunk, who's found it???

Mass Super Skunk is definitely still around in clone only form but I have to ask where you are and why you think that particular cut is the best place to start a breeding project to acclimate for your region?
