    feminized seeds?

Yes, do whatever you need to do to force a hermie, then take that hermie and pollenate whatever females you want with it. What you do with the feminized seeds is up to you.

Can anyone tell me what this is? (pic!)

I don't know if I'm understanding you correctly, but all pruning, topping and cutting should be done in veg, NOT two weeks into flowering. Will definately slow down bud production, worst case could stress the plant into becoming hermie.

    feminized seeds?

In laymans terms, a Hermaphrodite plant pollenates a regular female plant that is in it's flowering stage, and BAMM, feminized seeds. Seeds from a Hermie plant that pollenates itself will not be "fem" seeds, they will mostly be hermie seeds.

1st timer needs advice on which method to grow plz

Stick with soil if you're just startin' out. Nothing really to buy except for some light. Hydro and Aero require way more $$, knowledge, equipment, nutes, PPM meters, etc. Soil you can get from your yard for free(if it's decent), and water's free as long as the PH is acceptable from your tap...

The little plant that "topped" itself

Thanks bro! Wish I could share with all you guys. Just finished week 5, lookin' at another 3, give or take. Pull up a chair.

    Is this a Flower?

Yo! Just checked out your setup, very nice and clean. As for the plant, don't sweat it young grasshopper. I'll tell ya again so you can have sweet dreams tonight, you're golden, it's a girl. If that's the WW, that might be why it's takin' a bit longer for the pistils to pop out. Sativa dominant...

Thanks bro. What's the latest with yours? Pistils emerge yet?

The little plant that "topped" itself

Yeah, yours look a couple of weeks behind mine. If those top colas are nine inches now, they should land ya some nice bud by the time it's all said and done. As for those smaller buds at each node goin' up the main stem, they should more than double in size, so I think you're gonna harvest some...

The little plant that "topped" itself

Bro, our grow's are alike in more than just "time flowering". All my leaf tips are pointing down to the ground just like yours. I don't know how I did it because I don't use a lot of ferts...ever, but mine is overferted too. I checked everything..."N","P","K",PH, and everything was good except...

The little plant that "topped" itself

Thanks brother SICC. Unfortunately the smell ain't that strong in the room. I love when that shit is stinky as all hell myself, but I don't think this is a real odorous strain. Don't get me wrong, she stinks, but not that strong stink where it's like a skunk set up camp in your room. The buds...

The little plant that "topped" itself

Lookin' good bro. Funny you should post your pix now, I was just about to put the latest up about my girl. This is the end of week 5 in flower, so the buds should be gettin' ready to really fatten up as we head into the last couple of weeks. Enjoy!

    pot size

Now you're talking like a real man. I'm sure if you explained it that way to your girl, she would understand, and even love you more for being unselfish and thinking of your aunt's wellbeing.

    pot size

Hate to throw a monkey wrench in the works on ya, but maybe you should re-think this one a little bit. If you care at all for your aunt and whatever attempt she will want to try at having a normal life, free of the po-po and jail when she gets out, you will not grow weed anywhere near her. It's...

    trimming?

Agree. And also note what Roseman stated. He did his trimming and topping WHEN IN VEG.

Is it okay to start my germed seed in a big pot?

AnneH, put the seed in the pot, give it a little distilled water when the soil becomes dry, and don't feed it until the four week mark, and that's if your soil has NO FERTS in it to start with. If it is "pre-nuted" soil and your little plant makes it, you won't need to feed it until you flower...

Is it okay to start my germed seed in a big pot?

I shouldn't even dignify this one with a reply, but since we're all here to help one another, I will. The only way a plant gets overwatered, is if YOU overwater it. Definitely the first time I've ever heard the size of the pot a plant is in being the culprit behind an overwatering problem. Gotta...

Is it okay to start my germed seed in a big pot?

OK, I'm with ya now. Thanks for the compliment. Believe it or not, that was the first plant I ever grew. My Mother-in law was at my place and I was rollin' a doob for her out back. She said", go stick that seed in the ground." So I did. 5-6 months later, that's what I had. A 6'+ beast that...

Is it okay to start my germed seed in a big pot?

??????????????????????????????????? Please explain? Here is a picture of a seed that was planted right in the ground, and what happens when the roots are free to spread out from the start of the grow.

Is it okay to start my germed seed in a big pot?

Of course it's OK to start your seed in the big pot. There is NO benefit to starting it in a small pot and then transplanting later.
