    How Hard?

As far as maintenance goes, if you use timers you really don't even need to check on them daily. I like to watch mine grow, but I work at home and can do that. I have gone out of town for a few days sence I've had my setup. When I came back my babys didn't even know I was gone. They just keep on...

    How Hard?

As long as you use an air stone to keep the water aerated the roots will be fine submurged in nute solution.

How often should I water in clay pebbles & what interval

For sure need to get the humidity up, at least to 50%. If all you are using is the root riot in clay pellets you may have to set it to water for 4 to 5 times per day at 15 minute duration. Expanded clay pellets don't hold water for very long. I use 3" rockwool cubes in clay pellets and only have...

    How Hard?

I agree. I tried soil growing first, but now that I've seen the results, and experienced the ease of hydroponic growing I won't grow in soil again.

    My Drip Irrigation/DWC progress

Cool, thanks again. Stress sucks, but I try not to worry about it too much, that only causes more stress. ;oP But seriously, I take really good care of my plants so I don't think stress will be an issue.

    Top off or Completely Dump

I know I'm a noob here, and my opinion may not count for much, but I clean my res and change the nute solution every week. I never have to add to the solution by doing it this way, and my plants seem to love it. As a bonus the grass in my back yard is nice and green because I use the old nute...

    My Drip Irrigation/DWC progress

Thanks for the advice. Does sexing the plants in this way have any other negative effects on the clones? (slow growth, prone to desease, low potency, etc...)

    Pure Oxygen effects

I use an air stone in my hydro setup, but have never used pure O2. Should help, roots need O2.

    My Drip Irrigation/DWC progress

They have been growing for about a month now. I just started to bud them 3days ago to determine which are going to be female, then I will revert them back to veg and use the females as mothers. I use florecents for veg, but I have HPS for budding.

    My Drip Irrigation/DWC progress

My only past experience with growing, is with soil. I can't believe how fast plants grow in a hydroponic system.

This is epic! I also have a question.

It could also just be form the shock of transplanting. How old is it.

    What causes PH to change

I had a similar problem but my PH went down to about 4.5 which burnt the plant pretty bad. I still don't know what caused it. Now I check the PH every other day. The issue has not presented itself again yet. Strange...

    Easy Hydroponics Guide

I'm not much for reading to learn. I prefer videos so I can actually see what's going on. I have six different movies on the subject. There are some vids posted on Youtube. Check out Mr. Green Presents-I Grow Chronic. It's a good one on Hydro setups. He builds an Ebb and Flow as well as a Drip...

Help wanted with watering using a Drip system

I have mine set to water 3 times per day for 15 minutes at a time using rockwool and expanded clay pellits as a grow medium. It seems to be working great so far.

    Using nutes designed for soil?

I experamented with using a MiracleGro solution once, and it worked for awhile until the roots developed some sort of fungus. There is a pic in my hello thread here. https://www.rollitup.org/indoor-growing/165784-hello-everybody.html

    Hello Everybody

I don't think anymore are needed, it's a small garden. I may get better lights though, now that I've finally found a indoor growing supply store in my area.

IMPORTANT CLONE Q! help plz thnx

I'm kinda new to growing, but one of the videos I have says that you should revert the entire mother back to veg before you take a clone. If you try to take a budded clone back to veg it is too much of a shock. Kinda a double shock, a shock from the cloning prosess as well as a shock from the...
