    My Drip Irrigation/DWC progress

No, I didn't revert back to veg. I was going to, but instead I just took clones as soon as I saw it was female, and reverted them back to veg as they rooted. It took a little over three weeks for the clones to start growing. I'm guessing that is from the shock of reverting.

    My Drip Irrigation/DWC progress

Finished with week 5 of flowering and going into week 6. Plant is still doing great, looks healthy and is starting to get frosty leaves. Also she is still growing about 2 inches per week now at 30.5" tall and roughly 24" in diameter.

Add blue toilet bowl cleaner and you could tell everyone it's a new strain "Blue Dangelberry Bud"

    shortest system?

Thats really not much space to work with. You need about a 1 foot radius around the plants from the stem for outward growth, and you can expect the plant to be about 3 feet (or more ) tall, without training. To keep the plants short you can top and train the branches to make them bushy, but that...

    My Drip Irrigation/DWC progress

This weeks progress report... Still getting bigger. Just started using Sweet in the res. we'll see what happens. I still haven't baught milar or reflectors, but I rigged up some reflectors out of the ones that came with the lights. I have a leaf ? real quick also. Why do the leaves start out as...

    My Drip Irrigation/DWC progress

I started them off (in veg) feeding three times per day durring daylight hours for 15 minutes each feeding. Once I switched to 12/12 I started feeding six times (every four hours) per day for 15 minutes each feeding.

What makes the ph go up really fast?

You should also flush your system pretty regularly to keep salts (plant shit) from building up in your res.

    how big before flowering

It's not really a question of how tall they are, but how mature they are. Your clones should be rooted and showing new growth for about a week before you go to 12/12. I'd start with a ppm closer to about 600, then raise it as the plants develop, going no higher than 1500 ppm. Pot plants branch...

Question on Adding Molasses to Hydro +Rep for help

Use somthing made for hydroponics like this http://www.americanagritech.com/product/product_detail.asp?ID=1&pro_id_pk=29 or this http://www.americanagritech.com/product/product_detail.asp?ID=1&pro_id_pk=30 or somthing similar. This would be your best bet, sanitary and only what your plants can use.

    Fan Leaves

Thanks for all the help. Will, do the UVB lights actually do anything, or would I be better off just putting regular florecents back in my fixture?

    Fan Leaves

I don't have high wattage lights, but they are bright. I use two 70watt HPS, and two 20 watt black lights. The black lights are an experament. I read on the internet about people using black lights for indoor growing because they produce UV. UV light is lacking in indoor grows. I want to see if...

    First Time With Drip System

You should use a timer that can be set to run for 15 minute durations. I had mine set to water 3 times per day 15 minutes at a time durring daylight hours while in veg. Then bumped it up to 6 times a day at 15 minutes when I switched to the hotter lights for flowering.

    Fan Leaves

Can the large fan leaves that come off of the main stalk be removed? The reason I would like to do this is to help light penetrate to the lower branches. If doing so would cause harm to the plant I wouldn't do it. If this isn't a good idea, what else could I do to help the lower branches...

    rock wool roots

Also, once you bury it in clay pellets they will help to support the stalk.

Question of prefrence: when should humidity dome come off?

I take seedlings out as soon as the first set of REAL leaves develop, and start a fan blowing on them to make their stalks strong (you really don't NEED to have seedlings under a dome, but I'm sure there are advantages). Clones I leave in until roots develop (because they need the humidity, they...

    My Drip Irrigation/DWC progress

Here is my ONLY mature female from this crop. I had to shut down the lights to get a pic. The two lights are 70 watt HPS (lighting on a budget). This check I'm going to head down to the hydro shop to get reflectors and milar. Here are my ladys little buds.

    My Drip Irrigation/DWC progress

The larger of the two in the pic above turned out to be a male also. So, out of six seeds planted I got one good female.... THAT SUCKS!!! But, I have two rooted clones, which in a couple months should be nice mothers.
