First Bubbleponics DWC 5 gallon hydro. Need 3 questions answered

I know I'm high, don't know why that is hilarious to me. I swear I should have been an editor. I catch typos and stuff in books all the time. The word is raising. I'm not trying to poke fun, I was raised in the south, so... Anyway, yeah the bongs hittin great.

Watering Schedule for Ebb and Flow

I use Ebb-n-Flow for veg, and drip for flower. I run them both on the same watering cycle. Every three hours for fifteen minutes. I'm using a one inch peat type plug in hydroton, but I ran the same schedule when I grew in four inch rockwool.

    Advantage V. disadvantage CFL's

So far it doesn't look good for CFL, at least fo my strain. I moved the CFLs out of the way to take the pics, they are usually right down on the plants. I've decided to switch up my little experament some. I'm going to hook up my HPS for half of the garden, the other half CFL. I still have 2 to...

    Advantage V. disadvantage CFL's

Probably too close for that young of plant.

Hey Please check out the grow im in need of some pointers.

Like I said, it was probably just stressed when cloned. Usually 8 to 12 weeks depending on strain. They will probably finish at different times. Because you know the different strains, I would go to different seed bank websites to find out flowering leingth. They usually say what the...

    Germinating Seeds Ebb and Flo

I germinate like SelfSupplied is telling you to, it works great. I learned that method in elementary school growing beans, so it is defanitely a tried and true method. Like Fenderman, I do not use rockwool. When I first started out growing I did, but I found that it holds a lot of water so be...

Pumped up and ready to spray

Usually every week, but it depends on the size of your res, and how many plants you have. No real reason to flush every other week, if you keep your system clean. Depends on your nutes. Typically nute solution has to be stronger as the plant grows. I personally haven't experamented enough...

    beta fish

Theres this chick. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dz6m5370RB0&feature=channel It's not weed, but weed is as tough as any other plant, most of the time tougher.

Hey Please check out the grow im in need of some pointers.

I don't see any major problems in the leaves to say strong nute problem. Usually when the leaves are a light yellowish green they could use more food. When they get real dark your over doing it a little bit. If you start to get brown spots and the tips start to turn up, you're really over doing...

Hey Please check out the grow im in need of some pointers.

They look pretty good, the red stems is some sort of stress. Some times I have a clone or two that do that, but they get better. Use the IMG code from photobucket instead of link, it will make it easier for everyone. Did you say that you are flowering them already, or just using the flowering...

Cool, let us know how much it helps. They don't move a whole lot of air, but it should help some in the small space you're growing.

First Bubbleponics DWC 5 gallon hydro. Need 3 questions answered

Lol, me too. I have stacks of computer parts everywhere. I fix computers for extra cash. I started out going by the grow schedule (midsize/mature) for veg, but no longer do. I run a continuous harvest and don't have room for two different veg systems. So, I run the mix for mature plants only...

I use one of these. Doesnt really matter what brand or what it was origionally made to power. You only need to check the output. Be sure that it is 12 volts and has a amperage output that is close to the rating of the fan. Most PC fans use about 300mA, the converter needs to put out at least as...

    Hard water question

I have RO on one tap in my kitchen, two 10" inlile carbon filters in my bathroom, and water from the tap is 270ppm. I have grown plants all the way through using each. With the same nutes, in the same amounts. I did not compensate for ppm of the water, just mixed it by the directions on the...

    Switching Nutes, Please Advise

I use Botanicare, works great. I grew these with it under a 400 watt HPS. I have never cleaned my drippers, been over a year. There is some stuff that settels out in the bottom of my res, but it's no biggie.

Just read through your grow. I wouldn't say nute burn on your plant. Those first few pics when it was younger when the leaves were kinda yellow and the tips were brown. I would say that was from your temps and low humidity. What I did to keep it cool when I was using a smaller closet was use a...

Anyone use Botanicare Pure Blend Pro Gro?

You're welcome. If you only have one plant in 3 gallons you may be able to change your water every 2 weeks. I have waited 2 weeks a few times with mine when I was out of town, and it didn't hurt the plants. How old, and how tall is you plant? EDIT: If your plants are burned you should give...

what do they mean when they say PPM?

Who says to start with 300 ppm, and are you using the same nutes they are? I go by what the bottle says. 300 +18 = 318 not 480 but, it should probably be plus your water ppm. Depending on how much water you are using and how many plants that water is feeding, ppm can fluctuate. My water can...
