looks good to me .. I made my own out of pvc as well, but used 1/4 self tappers, but the same setup!! I would have put a tee in the middle though instead of the strings holding up the cross piece

first off, Styrofoam cups are a no no. use red or blue solo cups.. and I usually mix about 25% perlite in with mine, others use more but thats what im use to... I usally wait till the 4th set of nodes before I transplant. good luck with the grow.. oh and enlighten me on the banana trick!!

all i can say is screw those bags!!I used 1 gallon bags to transplant my clones into and they are just flimsy pieces of shit! mine end up in smart pots- cant go wrong with them
