Idk what they're touting, but crossing two unrelated strains doesn't produce homogenous offspring. Look up punnett squares to see what I mean In reply to your edit, those aren't the actual classic strains, it's deceptive marketing.

Pick something you like, be it a smell, a high, an effect, do some research as to what strain has those characteristics, and just go for it.
