not really sure if im not getting your concept, but isn't it just a less effective way of LST? I mean it seems like your doing the same thing, just with less leaves to get light and continue plant growth... I could be way off though.

Hey guys I was wondering what would be the best time to take clones from a 12/12 from seed grow, I know there will be a relapse with the plant due to lighting but I was just curious as to when most people take their cuttings at a certain height or time, if at all from 12/12 plants.
