Is hydro really that much better than soil?

BETTER is in the eyes of the beholder. It's all going to depend on your application, personal needs/ wants, what you're comfortable with, and what you really want in the end. But this is like the "who's better Tony Hawk or Daewon Song?" It's difficult to compare because they both are doing the...

    General Organics in Hydro?

I know this I super old but anyone trying to breed bennies in hydro needs to use a centrifugal pump, and not an impeller pump, as to not chop up and kill the microbes you're trying to breed.

    Transporting Cuttings Long Distance.

Yea man, I've seen em sit for the better part of a week. I've even heard of a crazy super lab that has an archive of strains being preserved just by a tap root of each in a Petri dish.:confused:bongsmilie

    will this ruin my harvest?

That's the claw bro, cut your nitrogen. Or at least looks like it to me, nitrogen toxicity will hinder your yield, flush with fresh clean water two times the amount of the size of the pot then slowly come back with a low to no nitrogen mix, see if it helps. Easy fix you should be able to clear...

8th week of flower and light broke. HELP

G to the store and get some cheap cfls and some adapters and make yourself a serviceable substitute. Seymour buds shows a quick and easy one in his book, which is posted here https://www.rollitup.org/cfl-fluorescent-lighting/40884-buds-less-cfl-book.html that's what I would do, hope this helped.

my mite problem is getting worse...

Mighty wash from THAT STUFF works wonderful, and its actually only ionized water so its perfectly fine to spray on flowers all the way up until harvest day, I've heard of some even dipping buds before hanging! I use it and love it, and I've put a mite under scope and sprayed, they don't explode...

has anyone seen this happen on their cannabis plant????

Honestly it looks like an aneurism to me, I've seen it happen to clones where one was using RW not soaked completely and an air pocket sent an air bubble up into the poor ladies. That or it also looks like stretch marks described and shown by George Cervantes here in this video...

    need some help 1st time

Looks fine to me bro, maybe a little too much water but she ain't drowning. Those bottoms leafs are the oldest and she's simply sucking up the rest of the nutrients available, the leaves are a nice color and they have definite serrations on the blades which is a sign she's doing well. Those...

    ec / ppm pen

Same here lol, my ladies let me know when something's wrong or if they need anything..(hate it or not just keeping it real) If you're not experimenting with a new regiment then I FEEL LIKE you SHOULD probably have a pretty good idea of where your PPMs are... Right?? No diss, just a thought...

Aero clone machine, clones not looking to hot :( any help? *pic*

i have had a lot of dead babies in the past, (more than caused by American troops in Vietnam) but all fucked up joking aside I never got real, constant success until I'd leave my dome on for first days with at least 85%RH.. if you walk into that room and don't start sweating almost instantly...

You need a dome, if not get two liter bottles or something cut the tops off and set them over each lady. spray some water inside each and you'll get the humidity you're looking for.

Lucas Formula, bout to switch to flower. question on nute level for transition

Lol I'm the same way, I skip using any type of N for flowering unless they ask for it and I do use HPK as well haha. I have small bottles of the rest of e GH line and if something pops up it can be addressed but, well leave all those for another thread right shiva? ;) i have a Hannah too...

GH uses a .5 scale but on their site where they explain PPMS they have a chart you can compare to even if you have a different meter scale.

Lucas Formula, bout to switch to flower. question on nute level for transition

Oh, you can get em a little hotter. Especially with that diamond nectar, just test em out first and look for signs of burning. The charts also have PPMs levels and I've gotten we'll into 1500 before lol so have some buddies, without seeing problems. If you wanna use a sweetener I suggest...

Lucas Formula, bout to switch to flower. question on nute level for transition

Exactly 1-2-3 then 2-2-2 then 3-2-1 is basically what the bottle says. But the beautiful thing about the three part system is that its made so you CAN adjust and toy with the levels to resolve certain issues you might come across. GH has used those same recipes for over 30 years and haven't...
