    Transplanting Question

Soil grow under 400 watt HPS. 4 Sweet Deep Grapefruit plants, day 32 of veg. I topped them 8 days ago, but incorrectly (above instead of below the third node). This left each plant with 6 new growth sites. They seemed to take to the topping well, and as soon as I thought they were comfortable I...

    Droopy Plant Diagnosis

Yeah the topsoil was still moist today, whereas it's always been dry to touch the day after watering before. Thanks for the replies. Consensus seems to be over-watering. I'm going to give them until next week to recover and then put them into flower.

    Droopy Plant Diagnosis

I didn't notice any drooping pre-watering. They're in 2 gallon pots. They were transferred from half gallon pots 13 days ago.

    Droopy Plant Diagnosis

Soil Grow under 400 HPS. Day 30 since sprout. 24 hour light cycle during veg. The largest of my four plants is looking very depressed. All four were watered yesterday, PH 6.5 water, with Biobizz nutes. We've had an unexpected cold spell, which has lowered the grow room temperature. Usually it's...

Thanks for the replies people, I put some lady's tights over the intake input and output, no bugs so far. any recommendations for better filtering?

12 feet of intake ducting, do I need a fan?

It's been working very well. The short fan on times due to the thermostat have been keeping the humidity around 70%. When I switch to flowering next week I'll be running both fans 24/7 to achieve the opposite effect, and leaving the heater on the thermostat so that the temperature doesn't drop...

12 feet of intake ducting, do I need a fan?

Cheers. It may not be strictly necessary, but I think there's so much distance between the source of air and the tent (and a 90 degree bend) that it's worth the investment. Using my exhaust fan tends to reduce the humidity by ~30%, and the intake fan should push air with a higher RH in to...

12 feet of intake ducting, do I need a fan?

So I decided to get an intake fan. My room is 36 cubic feet and the exhaust fan is rated at 235cfm, the intake at 180. I definitely don't need them running all the time, but what is optimal?

12 feet of intake ducting, do I need a fan?

The fresh air is coming from outside the house. The exhaust is a 4" 235cfm fan.

    Carbon filter setup

To save some space in your tent, hang the carbon filter in there, run ducting from it out the top and connect it to the fan outside the tent. Then ducting from the fan to wherever you want to exhaust.

12 feet of intake ducting, do I need a fan?

I have no fear of FLIR cameras, I don't think it's a policing priority where I live. I doubt the police have the resources to be flying around in a chopper pointing cameras at my roof looking for my four plant grow. I do have a fear that 12 feet of ducting is just too long for my passive intake...

    Two (2) SuperLocker 3.0's, Two (2) Procyon 100's LED, One Procyon 300 LED & a 4x4Tent

This was the best introduction video I watched: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sJ_a1Wv2ryc&feature=gv It's a little out of date, but all of the information is good. There's a hydro video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_OaVWFvcsvQ&feature=gv The guys in my local grow shop recommended...

12 feet of intake ducting, do I need a fan?

Hey thanks very much. I have a carbon filter, given that I'm exhausting into the attic anyway I suppose I could just exhaust into that.

    Two (2) SuperLocker 3.0's, Two (2) Procyon 100's LED, One Procyon 300 LED & a 4x4Tent

I'm by no means an expert, but: How tall is the 4x4 tent? If it's taller than the superlockers I would use it for flowering, as that's when the plants will need the most space, and gain the most height. It might be possible to get away without CO2 augmentation, but as you say you'll definitely...

First Attic Grow, Northern Europe. Sweet Deep Grapefruit

Couple of pictures. There's what looks like some damage on the largest plant (bottom left hand corner pot). One of its leaves has a crease or bend in it. Anyone seen this before? Otherwise I think they look alright. Every time I exhaust (15 minutes every 3 hours), the humidity drops to 30-40%...
