So it looks like you have a 50a double pole feeding the sub-panel. That is good. But the single pole breakers in the sub panel should be replaced with double pole breakers.

In one pic, it kinda looks like it could be double pole, in the other pic it definitely looks like 2 singles.

I can't tell for sure from the pic. In the subbox, you see the two main wires at the top of the circuit breakers? The one on the right has red tape around it. Trace those wires back for us to the old box. Are they connected to the 50a double pole breaker on the bottom right of the old box?

Well, first off, looks like the dryer has 2 single pole 30a breakers instead of one double pole 30a breaker. That should be rectified. I think the same is true for the 15amps too. Looks like 2 single poles, instead of one double pole. Yikes. And the main switch should be a double pole, not...

Hey mygirls, you bring up a valid point that I have failed to even think about. I rented for 12 years before I had saved enough to buy my first home. Making modifications to the residence when you don't own it can be a problem, or frankly not allowed. I apologize for forgetting about that...

Hi Delusional....from what I can tell in this photo, the first or main box is tapped out. That seems to make sense as to why the previous owner added the second panel. The second panel seems to have room in it for some expansion - Either for 3 single pole breakers or one double pole and one...

I am not sure I understand what you did to understand what the problem is. Can you elaborate more? What do you mean you drew 3 cables from one of your sockets? Where did you take the cables from exactly, what kind of socket?

Many grow rooms would benefit from installing a NEW CIRCUIT in your grow room. Grow rooms tend to use alot of power from lamps, fans/blowers, pumps. In most houses, a typical room only has one circuit. How can you tell how many circuits are in a room? Well, go look at your circuit breaker...

The Basic Power formula is P = I x E Where P is Watts (or power) Where I is Current (or AMPS) Where E is Voltage In order to determine the amps, you must transpose the formula P=IE to I=P/E or I= wattage of your light divided by the voltage of your electricity. Example: 1000 watt light will...
