    Why not round?

That is my intention, exactly. Matter of fact I had that S.O.B half assembled in the middle of the aisle at Lowes the othr day before some assistant manager broke up the party.

    DWC set up

No need for a pump. Set your reservoir above the level of the girls containers and use a passive feed line with a float valve.

    Why not round?

WOWIE-ZOWIE, Nocturn3. Had to read that three times and still can't believe it. 46 ozs. off one 600 watter? YEAH, no, HELL YEAH!!! Naysayers be damned. Thanks for the link.

    Why not round?

Yeah, I'm talkin' about a vertical cylinder and not a true dome per se.

    Why not round?

Yeah, coolesrat. Now we're gettin' somewhere. How can we do this, make the plants go around the light? If we can do that maybe we can rotate the plants as well?

    Why not round?

Thank you, BlazaBlaze. That's some good advice. Again, about the ceiling, caution seems prudent. A concaved parabolic shape can focus light, (i.e. heat), to extreme concentrations. One more point. About the haters. Hatred of others is an outward manifestation of self loathing. The best...

    Why not round?

    Squares don't have diameters.

    Why not round?

The coin demonstration. You can do this with any seven round objects of equal diameter. Coins are easy and usually assessable. Seven buckets, one foot in diameter. (The seven buckets are going to be my setup.) Arranged with one in the center and the other six around the center one. This has...

    Why not round?

Let's make this a little simpler. When you say "an 8 ft. round tent" do you mean 8 ft. in diameter or eight feet in circumference? And when you say "an 8 ft. square tent" do you mean a square tent, 8 ft. on a side; (i.e. 64 sq./ft.), or do you mean an 8 sq./ft. tent with four corners of...

    Why not round?

i bet a 1000 watter inside a 7-8 ft round tent mounted in the center would do good I do too. If you want a uniformed growth cycle ...all plants start and finish at the same time.... you would be limited as to the amount of plants Same holds true for any shape. Limited by square footage...

    Why not round?

My corrections. Abso-fuckin'-lutely! I too think the lights idea is worth a try. I'm an Anticapitalist Hobo so I've got lots of time to think about all kinds of crazy, unconventional shit And thank you.

    Why not round?

I think it would. I intend to go for it, but even at a total materials cost of under fifty bucks it's going to be a while before I can afford to do it. Hopefully this thread will generate some more interest and encourage some more positive input. Either way I'll post any info updates...

    Why not round?

Read the entire thread for the answer to your question. Thanks for the link, LMFAO!!! Don't think that's within my budget.

    Sorry. No center pole.

    Why not round?

The entire frame will be painted pvc pipe and fittings. I'm going to try different dome shapes for the ceiling. I'll have to be careful here, if too much light gets up there and the shape is to parabolic it could create the worst hot spot in the history of grow tents.
