    feeding chart problems!!!!!!!

What nutes? Your best bet is to probably start with light and then if that goes well you can try medium and eventually heavy if the plants can handle it. It really depends on what it is though so that would be helpful to know.

    Question about clones

If you're trying to save genetics then do it. You should be able to keep it alive but it will take longer than if you took it in veg. You basically have to reveg the clone so it takes more time. If you're trying to just take clones regularly get em in veg.

    help,me

I once had a plant with 11 parted leaves. It sold on the open market for 2 grand and is now one of the most popular strains in North America. I wish I wouldn't have let it go I would be a millionaire. Guard that plant with your life, it's going to be your way out of the ghetto, or at least...

Switching from distilled water to tap, mid grow?

It probably won;t be a big deal. If you want to be extra careful adjust your nutrients to account for the ppm of the tap water. I use straight tap water and it's about 250 ppms on average and my plants are fine.

1000W too much light for my setup??

I don't think it's possible to harm the plant as long as temps are under control. There is a point where it's kind of a waist. If you get it for a lower price and don't mind the extra power usage I say go for it. Don't forget to factor in the costs of your cooling stuff because I think the 1000...

    RO V's carbon filtered

I used to get all my water from my refrigerator which has a carbon filter. Now I just get water from the tap and let it sit for a little while. My plants look better now than they did when I was using the filtered water. That could be other things though like me just getting better at growing...

    New Wave or CFL!?

I would recommend t5's over cfls. Also you should get 6500k.

Will Fluorescent Lights do the job

No that's not what you needed. If you're only going to be starting the plants in there t12's will be fine. They don't need a bunch of light to grow. T5's would be better but t12's would do the job just fine.

how do i top a plant?

You cut the top off. If you do it pretty high up the plant then you will probably get two colas. If you let the plant get about 6 nodes the cut it down to the second you can get four colas. All you do is cut the main stem above the nodes you want to grow out. This works not only on the top but...

It doesn't really matter why someone is pathetic. They just are.

    Dealer, Please

I think my guy may be trying to dumb the weed down on me right now. I get g's for $20 and the stuff I got the first few times was really good but today it seems a little below what he normally gives me. Less smell, weak taste, semi brown color. It actually has a good high and doesn't take much...

    cfls

If you're going to get one light that pulls 300 watts make it an hid. If you really can only afford cfls it would probably be better to get a few lower wattage ones so you can put them all around your plants.

    WHY do CFL's suck?

Just so we're clear on this though I don't think cfl's suck. I've never used them. I personally use t5ho's and had decent results on my first grow. I will be flowering some more plants in a little while and should be able to give some better evidence. I'm pretty sure hid's provide more light...

Have you consulted the instructions for your timer?

    WHY do CFL's suck?

So I'll just throw this out there. HID are's better because they produce light more efficiently. You have a very intense light source in one spot. With CFLs or any other type of light if you put them right next to each other it won't make the light brighter. try this little exercise for you semi...

    Clones should i be worried?

It's probably just some shock from transplanting. it could also be the low humidity but either way it should get used to the new environment and be ok. Maybe you could mist it with some water and see if that helps. Over watering could also make them droop some. Some pics would be useful if none...

    Seedlings in Cup

The light is fine it will prevent them from stretching once they break the soil. Having the soil somewhat warm will be good as well. You probably shouldn't put it in direct light though if the soil is getting hot.

    To much c02 ?

Yeah it can have to much. How are you making it? To be honest I really doubt you are making to much but you could surprise me. You can by c02 testers at the hydro shop.

    Watering

You water when the medium you are growing in is getting dry. The roots need oxygen so you shouldn't keep it really wet. You just want it to be damp so you can either lift the pots and go by weight or stick your finger into the soil. After a while you'll just get a feeling for when your plants...
