Best Subcool Strain for Yield and Stabillity/Ease of Growth

Hey sub, if it isn't proprietary info, could you share with us what nutrient regime Pigfarmer uses? I'm going to be setting up a coco garden for another patient and it sounds like Pigz has it figured out.

    My first mix

Roots is never a bad idea. :) Just get some nematodes to go with it, lol. Your mix looks good. The only thing that jumps out at me is that it seems really high in nitrogen. But the only way to find out is to grow in it.

    My first mix

Honestly I couldn't tell ya if that's enough coco to make up for it. I'm not sure exactly how much is in Roots vs. your mix. The kelp meal couldn't hurt as long as you don't over do it. And if your base soil is peat based, yes I would recommend 1/2 - 1 cup of dolomite lime per cubic foot to keep...

    My first mix

Also, in addition to what I already mentioned, if your base soil is indeed peat based and doesn't have a lot of coco in it, I would add some kelp meal for some K. Coco naturally gives off a significant amount of K and if your base soil doesn't have a lot of coco like Roots does, you may end up...

    My first mix

Keep in mind that Roots has a lot of coco in it which doesn't go sour like peat does. If your base soil is peat based and not coco based like Roots, it would be wise to add dolomite lime @ 1/2 to 1 cup per cubic foot instead of 1 cup per entire batch like with the Roots based recipe.

    Two Questions about Super Soil

Roots is a coco based soil. Part of what makes coco unique is the fact that coco itself gives off K naturally. If you ever grow in straight coco with hydro nutrients, you'll find that the plants do way better if you give them less K in the mix. Too much K will lock out N and especially Ca...

Organic Soil Taste vs Hydro Taste

Organics definitely win in the taste and funk department, but honestly It's not by much if the hydro herb is done properly, flushed, and allowed to ripen/fade correctly. I think the reason msot people say organics taste WAY better than hydro is because the vast majority of hydro herb is not...

Best Subcool Strain for Yield and Stabillity/Ease of Growth

I'm on week five growing out 15 of the Flav from seed. They have a very nice branchy frame, are very vigorous, look like they will yield very well, and the smell is unbelievable. Very fruity with an indescribable exotic funk. Almost like Nag Champa or something. Romulan x Space Dude, can't go...

The Flav is a Beautiful Plant

I wish I had pics to share, but I don't at the moment. Can't afford a cam at the moment. Sorry. But let me tell you, the Flav is a beautiful plant. I'm just starting week 5 of flower in Super Soil. 15 girls selected from 30 seeds, 17 females total, had to cull down to 15 to keep my...

Marijuana Growing Consumes 1 Percent of Nation's Energy Discussion

Whoever wrote that article can kiss my ass. I use clean (relatively) hydro-electric and wind power up here the land of WA. And damn proud of it too. Maybe if the rest of the country quit burning friggn coal (wtf?) for power, it wouldn't matter so much.

    Best way to grow Chernobyl

Here's what I do. Once clones are rooted and transplanted into soil and have started vertical growth, I top them immediately after I have two nodes to work with. I top and prune the lowers, if any, so there are four fan leaves and four shoots growing from them. Two nodes worth of growth...

Best overall sleeping/anti-insomnia/flat out k.o. tga strain

The late term nanners are a Jack's Cleaner trait. Just don't let 'em go too long. If you're getting nanners on JTR before day 60 or so, you're doing something to stress them.

Which TGA strain has a minimal smell/aroma?

Jack the Ripper smells so friggin lemony/piney/fruity/cleaner that it kinda doesn't even smells like weed. It's a damn strong smell, but not your typical skunky fresh weed stink by a long shot. It is a strong smell, though lol.

    calmag quantity

Yep. I use reverse osmosis water because my tap water is crap, so the CaMg is necessary, otherwise the girls fade out and get gnarly deficiencies. Every garden is different, that's how I do it and it works for me. Your mileage may vary.

    calmag quantity

I use General Organics CaMg+ and love it. I go with 2 tsp. per gallon to correct a deficiency, otherwise, 1 tsp. per gallon every second or third watering. Just read the plant, give her what she wants.

    Subcool's Super Soil

I use an RO machine because my tap water comes out @ 350ppm and 9.0ph, leaves a white film on my dishes, and tastes like chemicals. No thanks. Do not want. Plants probably also do not want. The most important reason to use RO filtered water is to eliminate the problems that come from starting...

    Subcool's Super Soil

I use R/O water and sub's soil recipe and I need to supplement with liquid to keep the plants nice and green. I use General Organics CaMg+ every third watering @ 1tsp per gallon. Great product and the molasses in it helps turbocharge the bennies. I also lime my soil with 1 cup of dolomite per...

    whats your harvest window?

I take the Pink Lemonade pheno of the Ripper @ 63 days. Thumping stone, very potent medicine. Swollen calyxes and 5%-75%-20% Clear-Cloudy-Amber.

    TGA gear - known Phenos

The potency on Pink Lemonade is way up there. Three tokes and I'm gravy, and I have a high tolerance. Electric sativa high with a definite munchie-nap crash later on. It's a creeper too. Very easy to over-medicate if you don't pace yourself.
