Thanks mate, when u say whole watering cycle, wot exactly is a watering cycle? At the mo its pretty cold where I am so I'm only watering once a week and that's with the fert, my temps are lower than perfect, I'm using a heat mat under the pots to help but iv got seedlings so they aren't using up...

Hi guys, how often should I test my soils ph? I tested at the start, I'm using 1/4 strenght nutes at the mo but I'm gonna up it a bit next feed, how long is it before the ferts fk up the ph? Thanks

Is that 125w total or 125w per bulb?

Bright white might be daylight, wot sso said, plug it in if its a blue-white color that's them if its orangey that's 2700k

Id use 4 daylights and 1 2700k aparently its good to uae a bit of both

Also mate, I'm assuming ur Britannia, tesco sell 23w 2700k warm cfls for 10p each, those ones are 1400 lumens. (Just for info)

I'm guessing mate the ones u got are warm 2700k bulbs cause that's all most places like that seem to sell wich is fine for flower cause that's wot u want, but for veg u need 'daylight' which I could not find in wilkinsons, tesco, b&q, wickes and more the only place I could get them is homebase...

Thanks mate, my seedlings have been on 1/4 strength for two weeks no with no ill effect so time to up the dose then!

I am a complete newb, round by me there is quite a few so called "growers" who until I joined this forum seemed to know it all, after talking to one last night, I realised they actually know sweet fa!! So many thanks to the people of roll it up for saving us noobs who actually want to do things...
