Just like bertiswho, I too have increased my yeilds with less plants. Bigger plants = bigger yeilds.

I never water my plants that much. Just enough to feed 'em, but never with run off. "Flushing" with water during the final 2 weeks is a subjective thing, some do, some don't. Remember, if you drown your roots it'll hurt far more than help. Damp/dry is the way to go.

Hey all. I just made the switch from HPS to 8 lamp t5's (4ftx2). Heat and hydro were out of control, so, these lights seem to be much better(running in the mid to high 70's as oposed to 97 degrees!!) My question is: I have some girls on day 26( GHS Chemdog). Will the switch hurt them part way...

I run 2 600 watters and just dim 'em down to 75% on the really hot days like the last week. It'll bring your temps down a bit for sure. I sit in the mid 80's with 'em down, but high 90's at 100%.

Take 2 clones from each plant, then, when you see roots (10-14 days'ish), throw the mother(or father in this case)plants in 12/12 for 10 to 14 days to find out sex.

Tried the OG #18, and didn't get a good pheno. Wispy bud and not a very good producer. I know there are some good phenos out there, just not meant to be for me.

If you have a dimmable ballast, then dimmer down to 75% for these hot days. I'm running 2 600 watters with no cool tubes, and when I turn 'em down to 75% my temp stays in the mid 80's. At 100%, I was at 96 degrees. Not ideal for plant growth to lessen the light, but, niether is excessive heat.

I'm growing out some GHS chemdogs now. Only week 2 in flower, but so far..... 5 out of 5 seeds germ'd, fast grower in veg, takes nutes well, and all 5 are very consistent in structure(sturdy and strong looking). No heavy smells yet...just that "celery" smell, .....we'll see.
