If the online school doesn't pan out, look around for a technical institute. Also, keep your eyes open for entry-level jobs in a field that could interest you, but also has a ladder that you can climb. Most legit businesses will promote people that show that they can hack it. Then if required...

I would go with topping though. Creates much more predictable results, and once you learn when and where to top, you can create pretty plants with low profiles and lots of bud. Good luck.

Like hotrod said, you will need more light soon. If you don't want to put a bunch of cfls everywhere, you will at least need two more of those tubes. I would suggest picking up a couple of two-tube t-5s or t-8s(depending on what is carried local). Should only run you about 30 bucks per fixture...

Yes, they look about on track. Once they pop the surface and stand up, they tend to look like they go idle for a bit. But fear not, they are working on roots. If treated right, they will soon start growing like no-one's business. Good luck.

They have 2 weeks left? Or are 2 weeks old? If they are two weeks old and you don't see roots in the drainage holes yet, you should be alright for another week or so. And yes, you will want to go to a bigger pot before the plant gets too crowded or you start to flower, but I like to let it get...

Exactly what I do. Nothing extra, no gimmicks, no worries. As soon as it starts showing roots, pop it in soil and game on. Can't remember the last time one took a crap on me.
