Thanks for your reply dude. It makes sense. Is this just for the initial cure at the start to exchange CO2 for O2? Only after a periods of time you can seal buds away for months which will continue to cure( providing enough moisture left) so guess what I’m saying is in the longer cure, there...

Not being harsh but the bud would of dried up to nada :-/

Just make sure you’ve got your temps/humidity/airflow are spot on or your asking for rot in big buds

So if my buds are dried after hanging them for 10 days and they go into jars at 62% is there any need to burp ? Hygrometer s in all jars reading 62-63%. They been at 62-63 % for 5 days now.

Pots look massive which would indicate there’s more than enough food for the ladies, shouldn’t be feeding it anything right now. Your plants are not that big either so even more there s plenty of food left. Early buds suck

It’s also my experience too. Hanging the whole plant to dry which takes roughly 10 days the small stems snap, i trim then into jars and the buds are dry sticky, stinking and in the cure zone, burp once every couple of weeks. Too much faffing about putting buds in jar when there too moist. I do...

I wouldn’t write soil off, your a new grower using a bag seed and not happy with the results. Give it another go with some decent genetics

I’ve read this over and over ( original post) and it states to put the bud in slightly before the stems snap, in my years of experience this always results in a longer cure, and not always the best results.

You say not much more to gain, but the experts in the field state curing up to a year can produce the crem de la crem.

So why not burp after the first month ? If they benefited for the first month, why not after ?

Appreciate your reply. I’m just trying to get my head around that if my buds are dry after the 10 days hanging then into jars, what are the benefits of burping if there is no risk of mold ?

Technically knock 10 days off your 91 as takes time to transition from veg to flower. So your 11.5 weeks in flower, I’d give it another 7-10 days dude by the look of yours

I’ve never had a plant finish before 10 weeks. That’s not including the 10 days flip 12-12 Growing 15 years.
