Lockout only occurs when there is salt build up i believe. I think its hard if not impossible to get lock out using organic. The plant in my avatar didnt get flushed at all during the growth and flowering. Only at the end.

I used 11 litre pots with clay pellets on top to stop evaporation from the soil and they would be dry as hell in a week. 4-5 days would of been about right for them.
