You could use a hookah mouthpiece. They are a small plastic straw that you basically just insert into the mouth piece. This would work with most pipes, but I don't know of anything large enough for a bong mouthpiece.

Do you have any pictures? If they are turning yellow, uniformly, at the bottom of the plant, this can be expected as the nutrients are pulled towards the top. They will naturally fall off. Again, pics or more information is needed for a more accurate diagnosis.
