No the 400 watt is for growing and flowering. The shop light is for about 2 or 3 weeks. Or just blast them with the 400 watter right a way.

Step #1 Buy a four foot shop light and put your plants almost touching the bulb. Step #2 buy a 400 watt light off craigslist.

You want to soak the shit out of the soil with water. Water will run out the bottom of pot. I submerge the whole pot in a bucket. They are watered then.
