Yeah OregonMeds has the right idea. At this point in the game you could make them look like pretzels, no need to do bits at a time. The plants top will correct itself and start growing towards the light again within a couple days. Check out some of the pics in the last page of my grow journal...

Once the new shoots that pop out at the nodes are about 4-5 inches long go ahead and clone. Cutting the top won't really make it bushier but it will give you two main colas instead of one if you do it right. Uncle Ben's Topping Technique to get 2 or 4 MAIN colas If you don't want to top it...
