If you look at any good nute companies feeding charts, you can see that they do indeed provide EC and PPM values for you to achieve before adding to soil. I know that the soil buffers a lot, but a good PPM meter is essential for growing any good plant.

Do you have a EC or PPM meter? If you did you could check the nute amount before you add it. You can find them for about 40-50 bucks on eBay. Are you growing inside? Of so what is the temp just above your plants?

Why don't you just adjust the ph of your nutrients before you add them to the soil.

This is a pretty easy solution. With mh or hps lights you will never get a good pic, your lucky not to get bars (wavelengths of light) in those pics. But what you can do is upload them to your computer, then use the temperature setting, and slide it more towards the blue side until it looks...

Baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) or you can get liquid ph up if you needed $20 from GH and will last you years probably. It will buffer th ph up for a couple of weeks easy....don't use a lot though.

You don't need to be wary of only growing one strain...I grow 8 diff strains on one set up, with one Rez...takes a lot of work checking them and making sure they are happy, adjusting things as needed, tying the tall sativas..but for the most part it is extremely easy.

Yeah WW is the same way...got some BB free though and there is a lot of Indica in it...but it is real tall.
