    Mountain Growing in Central America

Well its Friday and the little babies have been a bit slower this week than last. I figure that there could be two reasons for this; 1. I might have been a bit heavy on the nutrients this week 2. The weather has been cooler and rainy. Since Monday's measurements the bush baby has gone from...

    soapy water

userfriendly is correct and also it can depend on the time of day you did it. Never spray in the sunlight and 1 tblsn per gallon of water, use Ivory if possible. Ivory doesn't have all the trash that most makers put into their soap. Good growing and stay chemical free.

    Mountain Growing in Central America

Presently I have two different stages of plants not counting some clones I am trying for the first time. My largest babies are over 7ft tall now and one is in what I would call the 7th day of flowering and the other is just starting to show signs that it is ready to start. I have not kept a...

    What can i use!!!

the best cure for deer is to hang zest soap at about 2 to 3 feet above the ground. The scent of the soap seems to make them think man I guess but have used it effectively for many years. Mogie has listed some great methods also which I also use both for my babies and for my veggies. Good Growing

    lst or topping?

There are many pros and cons on the best way to increase yield and alter the growth rate. I personally have found that topping at the time the plant reaches the 4th set of leaves gives me a desired effect. I best I can say is you are going to have to see what works to create your perfect...

    Fan leaves in flowering

I probably should just keep my mouth shut at this point, this statement will stir up lots of fuss. You might as well trim those bottom leaves off, they tend to be more of a drain on the plant at the stage they are in. I am a firm believer in trimming, most of your nuteriants come from the...

    Outdoor

I am no expert on growing by any means, I have grown my own plants though for 38 years with what I consider good success. First, if you are putting your plants outside and they are under about 12 inches I always put wire around them, rabbits love a good plant along with other critters. Second...

Help Me With My Outdoor Planting

Well after many years of not growing I am growing again and outside in Costa Rica, the temps are similiar to yours. I find growning outside the most enjoyable way and the most potent way of growing. The most important element is the soil prep in the hole you are using, personally I like a hole...

i'm soooo thirsty. tea sounds good

Well if you have access to rabbit manure and you don't want to use it for tea, you should see what it will do for you in the bottoms of the holes. When you dig out your holes for your babies, put a few inches in the bottom. Once, the roots reach this layer you will be amased and the great...

i'm soooo thirsty. tea sounds good

Personally, I have always preferred rabbit manure. It makes a wonderful tea and the waste product itself is then mixed in with you potting mix.
