Quick words of wisdom/advice needed PLEASE :D

Did you at least turn the soil under the ammendment you put down to loosen it? Hard to guess as soil conditions could be anything from hard packed clay to sandy loam to forest super loam, etc. Under the "for what it's worth" thing, cannabis given time will practically uproot your foundation...

    Using soil from the earth?

Depending on the soil: Perlite, kelp, bonemeal, lime, time release ferts (if you're into that sort of thing), mulches, chicken wire, etc. Thats the rub here ... gotta know your soil/location conditions. Hauling amendments is far easier than trying to figure out how to hump bales for sure...

Arduino Controlled Grow and PC Program - Work In Progress

On the PH its more sensor drift over time. Obviously this isn't a leave it for 60 days approach or anything. Just figuring it will suffer the same slings and arrows all the pens do with needing calibration/drifting/etc. And of course, I cant double rep you for this alone. I'll just make...

Arduino Controlled Grow and PC Program - Work In Progress

sub'd Curious on how you'll keep the PH measurements actually in check over time etc. Should be interesting if you're willing to keep this thread up to pace with the progress. Thanks in advance for the efforts.

    WTF please reply??

That's my opinion. Not enough information. Yes its doable. The reason the other thread didn't gain traction was reflected in my opinion. That and being confrontational to every "seemingly" off reply doesn't help. Some of us really struggle with English etc. I thought my reply was well...

    WTF please reply??

Yes, its do-able ... problem is, you're still not providing enough detail on almost any level to help you with anything more than: "Yes, this is called "ramping" in some circles when people have to slowly increase their space/power consumption, etc." SOG is best done (edit:) with smaller...

ok..so I use mason jars to cure, but have run out

Cheap rubber indeed. Nasty when it breaks down etc. Seems many of the other (better) short term storage containers etc are using silicon based gaskets to remain "neutral" in the flavoring/contamination aspect. But those tend to have the same problem over time including becoming saturated and...

    rate your breeder

Sannie and associated breeders there. Good gear. Works to try and show some of the cross development from time to time. Even with some of the gear with a wide pheno drift, no surprises and covered well by the folks at the respective forums he maintains for his gear. (wiet and openg) Plenty...

First CFL Grow!2 Moby Dick, White Rhino, ???, and a cup full of schwag!

Sorry to hear about the mites. Typical though. Carpet in the area etc etc. Get the scope out and keep diligent on those treatments to keep them in check. Still watching the schwag with much anticipation. Cheers.

ok..so I use mason jars to cure, but have run out

Not trolling. Honest question mate: Why do you make this recommendation? Like many I've had some with bad formed lids/seals and paid dearly for it. Just wondering if its a quality control issue or what. Thank you. edit: Ack posted while you modified the above. Seems to be answered that...

    Scroggy's 2012 garden

Not sure is this means what I thought it meant, but I'm one of the scribers trying not to lurk so hard lately. Figured I'd say thank you for sharing your garden so you'd know there is at least one regular viewer in the wings. Love the innovation with materials being used here. And lots of...

    Strange Growth on buds.

Photo's aren't helping much, but it sounds like/vaguely looks like foxtailing. Somewhat common in Sativa doms pushed hard(ish) indoor. More like the start of the Foxtailing. Exaggerated pistil growths etc all look on par for a long run time strain when it plumps up like this ...

Taste quality is well less then desired..

You mean using this sort of technique/approach? LINK: http://www.marijuanagrowing.eu/how-too-emergency-flush-using-bubbler-t29346.html?hilit=emergency%20flush It can be useful if you really have something go wrong ... like when a partner overfeeds twice (damn shroom-heads) during late cycle...

    Hey people

Hmmm, as a fairly long time lurker I'd not call DSB a troll mate. I've never seen him head down this path. I'd think with the death that occurred around yourself recently (assuming you're actually from Joplin), you'd have an ounce more compassion to just leave it alone or STFU. @DSB - Sorry...

    Silica: Yes or No?

Yes, it can be used in soil. Expensive in comparison to some other solutions but that's your choice ... From the datasheet on the product: "Soil and Soilless Mixes: Regularly apply Pro-TeKt® at a rate of 1:1500 to 1:3000 (1/2 tsp to 1/4 tsp/gal) depending upon the plants' requirements...

Do weed plants produce seeds not fert

Hermie happens. Sometimes on a micro scale with cannabis. Tons of factors as to what would have led to this. Weak genetics, conditions going off, stress from methods used, etc. The male flower aspect can be really hidden or buried inside the flower at times when this occurs. So, yes, they...
