Inexplicable wilting - please help me troubleshoot!

Bump... lowering the ppm didn't help. They are still wilting! I seriously cannot figure out why. Temps look fine. PPM and pH seem correct. Is light shock a possibility? Please help!

Inexplicable wilting - please help me troubleshoot!

Hi Jonus, Well looking over my plants again, I think that most of the burns are earlier in its life. The only problem in the new growth seems to be wilting. I tried googling up light shock to fix it, but could not get any good info. I don't see how I could step up my light source more...

Hey Fellow Growers! I have been crazy trying to figure out what is wrong with my plants and I would really appreciate any advice! So here's the lowdown- I have 2 plants (Australian Blue strain-sativa) that I have been vegging for about 3 months. They were from my last (and only grow) and...

    Need Help Identifying Some Bugs!

I think I figured out what the problem is. I am convinced that they are Fungus Gnats. As I stated above, I did use various resources to read about pest and nothing there really seemed to fit. I thought originally that they might be Spider mites or Thrips, but I couldn't find any of the symptoms...

    Need Help Identifying Some Bugs!

Friends, I need some help! I was visiting my plants today, when I noticed that there are little tiny specks jumping around in a pool of residual water in my flood tray. At first, I thought they were pieces of debris, but then I noticed that they were jumping around! They are so small that I...

Longest time before a veg from seed plant will show signs of sex?

No mirrors here, just some mylar sheeting and an unnatural obession with perfection. Heh. Going back to my original question, I am wondering if I don't go 12/12 will the bare one eventually HAVE to show preflowers or is there a chance it never will? Thanks.

    Unhappy Times (tons of pics)

Why MH versus HPS? HPS is much more efficient in lumen/wattage. I don't know what are the other pros/cons though, I am a newb.

Longest time before a veg from seed plant will show signs of sex?

Baz; That is my new biggest fear. I only ended up vegging them for so long because I keep running into problem after problem and only barely stabilized it enough to consider flowering. It's been a rough road for me and now it seems like it's about to get rougher. Beautiful babe though...

Longest time before a veg from seed plant will show signs of sex?

Snowchild; Thanks for the confirmation, I am wondering about my bare one though. Do you think it'll ever show preflowers? I would rather not have to put one in 12/12. Thanks

Longest time before a veg from seed plant will show signs of sex?

So you're saying I might never see preflower signs on my largest? The thing is that these are going to be moms so I just want to know which to keep and clone. Thanks.

Longest time before a veg from seed plant will show signs of sex?

I was wondering if anyone knows whether a plant has to show signs of sex before flowering or if it's just a hit-or-miss thing:?: I have 3 sativas that have been vegging for almost 90 days now. From what I've read I am pretty confident on the sex of two of them (my two smaller plants less...

    Unhappy Times (tons of pics)

Quantum; I'm on my first grow and at 40 days my plants looked very similar. I have them under a 125w and a 105w 6500K CFL and they were being hand watered in hydro. Turns out overwatering was the culprit of the droopiness. When I finished building my cabinet and popped them in there, I...

    Multi chamber perpetual grow...hopefully

Hey Kailiwela44, I am new to this, but I just built a cabinet very similar to yours, except I removed the central upright plank, dividing the flowering and vegging chambers. Everything looks alright to me, the one thing I was not too sure about the the 12 inches to marked from the bottom. Is...

DIY 250w HPS ballast not lighting

Update: Wow, a fiasco. After a thousand different tries and configurations we finally got it. Turns out that one of my bracketing bolts was causing a short. Solution: we ditched it. It's more wobbly, but less not-working. Here's a picture: Thanks for all your help guys. Cheers all around!
