    First Grow Ever...using Aerogarden

Yeah but you can still use the hood! Tell hubby to take the hood off and put it on your plants. I would definitely get more lights. I have 11 26w cfl's and 1 42w cfl on 2 plants but I don't have a grow box, I just leave my closet open so it gets good air circulation. Do you need to grow in a...

    sponges

I poke a hole straight down with a chop stick. I don't water the sponge prior to putting the seed in. That's how it works for me

    First Grow Ever...using Aerogarden

3 cfl's for those plants? What's the wattage? Check on craigslist for cheap cfl's, I got a deal there, 3 26w 2700k bulbs for $1. What happened to the Aerogarden hood? I would use that as well.

First Time Grow!! Going Good so far! PICS!

UPDATE I started adding cal mag and the plants grew noticeably. I don't know what's wrong with that seedling, the others in that same aerogarden are doing quite well. It was really hot here for the last couple of days, around 79-80, could that be the problem?

    Aerogarden Classic 3 Questions

I added nutrients at about 1 week and 1/2. I add nutes every other feeding. No, don't water your plant if the root doesn't touch, if you are using the AG sponges, they will suck up water to the root, I never water them manually. Just let the AG do its thing. Even though I added nutes after a...

    Aerogarden Attempt #1

Set to strawberry? Is that for germinating? I usually germinate them before placing them in the AG, and once I put them there I leave it on the setting of 24 hour and I just manually turn the lights on and off. I would suggest getting some 2700k bulbs for flowering, they're pretty cheap.

First Time Grow!! Going Good so far! PICS!

On the big plant I have those 3 bulbs that come with the AG hood and 2 clamp on reflectors with 2 26watt 2700k bulbs in each reflector. I also have a power strip with 3 more 26 watt 2700k bulbs, so I got 10 26watt bulbs on that plant pretty much, and its crazy I open the leaves to see through...

    AEROGARDEN Grow...need assistance

Get the plastic pods, in there you will find a sponge like material. Get a chop stick or something similar, and drive the stick from top to bottom, helping the root grow down and when you make the hole a little bigger it helps secure the seed. I have found that they jump around too much and the...
