They will make it, but not without incurring some stress...which could cause them to hermie, as they r trying to finish flowering... If u r only 2 weeks from flowering to be finished, I would not risk it... U can revert them to veg after harvest if u leave enuff foliage on them, and move them...

Ballasts r definately necessary for any HIDs... It all depends on the airflow and temps u can maintain, as to how much wattage u can use... For me, the more lumens the better, and u would do much better to be using MH AND HPS for the entire grow... It'll do much better under each spectrum in...

Ive never seen any edison-based CFL's run on 220V, but then again, Ive never been to Europe, so Idk... I have wired (2) 110V, 150W incandescants in series, in temporary sockets, on 277V, for temporary job lighting, and have seen this work quite well...

20W(X4)=I(amps) X E(voltage)... Idk what voltage u r using... If u r in the US, u likely have a 110V, 20A circuit to plug into... So, if this is the case, u r only pulling .72 A... So, a cable rated for this would work in as small as 16AWG... But, overkill in circuitry never hurt anything, and...

If u have a couple HPS kits, u can just put a MH of the same wattage in one, and it will burn fine... NO need for a "conversion lamp"... I do this ALL THE TIME...

With T5s, u probly wont even notice a difference... My bill may have gone up another twenty bucks a mo, MABYE, with a lil over 1K HID lighting runnin all the time... I REALLY wouldnt sweat it with T5s or CFLs!
