if you start with ro water you won't have the wild swings in ph after you use your nutes, the best thing for me ever was switching to ro water after that I no longer have to chase ph... ahhhh.... so much easier now.

Use the lucas formula wich requires you to use a ph and ppm meter and hid lighting, there are no water changes, just keep the res topped up and at 1300 @7 with ro water and the res stays around 5.2 to 5.8 ph and the plants grow great. It is the easiest thing, easier than soil imo. I just left...

I have those products, what are you doing hydro? If so I bought all the botanicare products ( lots of money) and started to use them had problems and switched to the lucas formula, the botainicare works fine I am sure ( the problems where probably me), but the lucas formula was much eaisier...

You should google ask lucas marijuana, and find the ask lucas thread he goes over this in detail and his jist is if you are using the correct nutes, additives are a waste of time... just his opinion but after reading his thread it makes alot of sense and the thread has tons of useful info check...

Ya know, I built my own and it was cheap and easy and is the best thing I have ever done in my life.... ok maybe not, but it was cheap and easy, and it grows like there is no tomorrow. Maybe you should build your own save the money and invest in good genetics, or a good ph/ppm meter or some...

Just wondering, why keep adding additives if the plants are doing great? Unless there is something that increases yield... and if that is the case what if any additives have you found helpful to greatly increase yields?

I had the same thing in my bubble buckets, I had three 2 where males one female, I pulled all of them apart and what I could not pull I cut, my female looked fine afterwards and that was like 15-25 days ago and all is well in flower now. good luck

I think your roots should be fine, I have the same setup as you and have had no problems. (knock on wood) I actually do not subscribe to the air gap thing also and keep my buckets filled within about 2-3 inches of the top (so there is a small airgap I guess) and my plants have been perfect...

shenegen, what I mean is put one inside the other so that it is more sturdy, so there would be 2 containers but only one would have water in it while the other is holding the one... but you use a regular 45 gallon rubbermaid container and have no problems?
