    wow spidermites!

check it out, im about to solve all your problems - do NOT kill that plant, unless you already did....go buy "No Pest Strips", a buddy had mites for a few days and they all died after a day or two with no pest strips, the bud was perfectly fine and it didnt harm the weed AT ALL. there were dead...

    LED or hps

some poor sap bought those lame UFO LED's for $1200 for 2 of them...heres a link to the thread, i honestly feel sorry for the guy..think of what a perfect setup you could make for $1200, as opposed to buying 2 LEDs which are equivilant to a 400watt HPS....total ripoff...

    Why do people

23 days! time to top? and why are they yellow?

ya exactly, my point is that you want enough nodes so that atleast 2 pop out in place of the one you clipped - and its always a good idea to make sure you have about 5 or 6 nodes so they all can get some energy. im about to top my 20 clones, which are about 10 inches and have atleast 5+ nodes w/...

23 days! time to top? and why are they yellow?

foxfarm is good, i love organics. save the big bloom for flowering and use the grow big right now. you dont have to use 1/4 strength unless they are still seedlings, and theyre big enough now for you to give them a nice 1tbs/gallon of grow-big - just dont pour an entire gallon into that little...

23 days! time to top? and why are they yellow?

they look good so far, but dont top it! its not big enough, let it grow another 5 nodes before topping. the yellowing looks sorta like nute burn, cus the tips are curled and burnt a little. usually, typical yellowing takes over the entire leaf but doesnt burn the tips at all - that would be a...

    Why do people

its a 55 day strain, but you might wana let it go to 60 days - however long it takes the crystals to become half cloudy half amber. they grow fast and huge, mine are 5 feet 5 inches - so you might wanna flower before they get too big, they will definately stretch!:hump: here pics of my old...

    Molasses, how much?

yep, i use a big 5 gallon bucket and stir up a nice mixture of 5 different nutes including molasses. its good that you alternate with nutes/water, that will prevent them from locking up. start with 1tbs/gallon and work up to 2tbs/gallon, or just stay with 1 - thats what i do.

    Why do people

yes, indica = couch lock and sativa = energizing headhigh that doesnt necessarily mean that sativa is better than indica though, so i wouldnt say sativa is the upper echelon of plants - id say its all about opinion (even though my opinion is that sativas are definately better, but indicas yield...

    2 led ufos for $1200

my switchable 1000watt (currently using HPS) was $350, but you can get a 400watt HPS for $119 at HTGSupply. you talk about price, but my power bill is only $30 more with the 1000watt that i only paid $350 for...i read about the UFO light in high times, but i am beyond skeptical - especially for...

purple hues, anything help bring it out?

i also agree about lowering the temp during the dark cycle, it works like a charm. thats 3 ppl agreeing, so you should definately see results! just lower the temp by like 10 to 15 degrees

    Purple stems?

i agree with the above poster, it CAN be a sign of nutrient deficiency but usually its just a trait. its generally NOT a sign of nute deficiency, ive had plants and clones both having purple petioles (stem on leaf), sometimes theyll get purple streaks on the stem but its not a deficiency - i...

First Grow - DAY 23 FLOWER

you can take clones from plants in flower, there was actually a thread recently about someone who did it at day 17. ive seen ppl here say they took clones w/ huge buds on them too lol, so yea you can take clones -or- you can reveg the whole plant itself. itll take about 1-2 months for new life...

i use sweet too, it costs about $20 at the hydro store. it works really well too as a substitute for molasses - i use it during the last few weeks then flush with it too.
