I've heard you shouldn't put any more than a drop per gallon of that stuff in. Some people say that it makes a plant susceptible to turning hermie. Also, what kind of light are you using? They seem to be stretching a little bit. Maybe try putting it a little closer to them.

Here's another update. The buds are looking awesone. It's definitely all sativa. I don't see any indica in this plant at all. I hope it doesn't grow too much taller. I don't know what I'm going to do if it does... :bigjoint:

That's not how genetics works. What you are saying is that the plant will evolve in one generation and automatically make its offspring hermaphrodites from then on out. Evolution takes several generations because DNA cannot change that fast. Hermaphroditism is not an all or nothing...

I think it would work for the first few generations, but if you keep doing it, then the strain will become sensitive to becoming hermie.

Well here is about a little more than 2 weeks into flowering. You can't really tell from the pic, but there are buds starting everywhere finally.

how do u feel about clearex over old-fashioned flushing for a week? I know earl likes to use it for 2 days before the chop.

they'll be fine. it would only be a problem if it happened much later in its life. and it wouldn't affect the potency anyways, just maybe cause it grow hermie.

yeah, put just distilled water in there for at least 4 days. They'll get better.

The mesh buckets are actually designed for the 5 gallon bucket. However far down it goes, usually sits about a little less than a foot off the bottom. The time limit is the "usual" time frame and is more or less arbitrary. Sometimes the first hydro will start off a little slow, but once it gets to the second set of leaves, just follow the nute concentrations according to the time-frame and its size and you should be fine.
