20,000 usable lumens is better then 40,000 with 20% in a good spectrum..

The flouro's are better in the spectrum sense.. but they don't have the intensity or the penetration I don't think..

A 600 at 1 foot (90,000 lumens) is a close match to a 1000 at 2 feet (140,000/2=70,000).. so it depends on cooling also when choosing bulbs.. If you can get 600's really close your better off..

20/4 is a good medium.. dark is needed for strong plants.. I bet if you added some dark.. your buds would get bigger in the end.. or heavier so to speak..

yeah.. that's one thing about soil... if you prepare and do your setup work you only have to water and correct minor issues.. and when you really have it dialed in.. you only water when needed...

not too long.. let them get about an inch or 2... depends how big the container is.. if you let it grow into a big root ball I don't think it will be as good... but try a couple different times..
