18/6 is a fine lighting schedule IMO; 24/0 just makes your bill go up and your bulbs burn out without any proven benefit.

The one I used was from a discount eBay headshop for US$100 plus postage. I don't believe they are stocked in Australia, let alone our neck of the woods kmoo. I would be very keen on developing an Aussie version...

1 battery got through 1-1.5 chambers on average, it got better with practice as there is a technique to it. Weed, launch box and a few batteries will fit in a ciggy pack, and with practically no prep/heat up time, no fans or bags or long tubes, it's just so stealth.

Anyone here ever seen/used a magic flight launch box? I had a play with one yesterday, and was thoroughly impressed with it's rustic simplicity and extreme portability. The only downside is to have a big session or to share with others it requires a handful of spare batteries as they take too...
