    Building New Growroom

am i right that to utilize high co2 (1200+ ppm) you need to be at like 85+ degrees F if thats right cooling might not be that big of an issue if you're just supplementing a sealed environment that's a different story though... if that's the case don't set it much higher than what the plants...

    CO2 BAGS cheap, easy, all natural 2,000ppm in a 10 x 10 area

don't you have to jack your temps up to the 80s to get any use out of more than ambient co2 anyway? as in.. the chemical reactions taking place only happen fast enough over 80 to use any extra co2 unless this is just to supplement a closed environment

    CO2 BAGS cheap, easy, all natural 2,000ppm in a 10 x 10 area

different fungus strains grow in different conditions and the magical ones grow at very similar temps to what is best for a normal grow.. the 90+ temps that make co2 beneficial would kill most magic varieties though.. they grow (in the mycellium stage) fastest at around 78 degrees iirc and they...

    semi greenhouse....skylight grow with lights

i'd set a timer for the total on period you'd like... 5 am to 9 pm or whatever... then put a light sensor between the timer and the lights (or relay) and then the light will only come on with the timer says it's on time AND when it's dark out actually.. you may have to "hack" the light sensor...

    Lighting and ballast question

I'm no electrician... I just know dollars... and 1 nice 1000w ballast costs less than 2 nice 400w ballasts and i know that coming off the lead is just a hot (at some voltage and hz) and neutral and a ground... easily spliced into two cords (with plugs even) for two separate lights wattage is...

    Lighting and ballast question

I'm pretty sure I've read that you can use a 600w or 400w bulb (HPS) on a 1000w ballast and it'll work fine. As in you can always go down but not up or you'll burn up the ballast. First, is this correct so far. If that's correct could I wire two 400w lights to one 1000w ballast? like at the...
