Here's my 1/2 cents Im on my 3rd harvest, Ive flushed all 3 times. Each time Ive probly did it to soon (8, 9, 8 weeks) all 3 times I felt it was a MISTAKE, but Im just learning. ABF does not flush and next time, Im not going to flush either.

I seem to remember reading in one of Al B's posts minimum of 5/liters per plant. Im using that and dont seem to have much trouble. But the bigger the tank the less often you will need to clean and change nutes.

WARNING if you build one of these you MUST use a T-15 shape bulb. T-15 hps are easy to come by, but there are not a lot of T-15 shape m/h's They do work very well I have 2, One for a 250mh and one for a 400 hps. I got mine on ebay from a lady selling both for $25, but that was about 8 months ago.

I know that when you plant seeds that are "feminized" there is a chance that the plant will hermi. But what I would like to know is , if it doesnt hermi, does that mean that any clones taken from that plant wont hermi either? And if it does hermi, are thoes clones prone to hermi also?

AL said I should use it , so I do. My tanks look cleaner and when I change nutes, clean-up is just a wipe with a damp (diluted h2o2) towel. I dont have root problems, and the roots that are poking out of the bottom of the pots are nice and white.
