First crack at doing autos....here is the setup: Lighthouse Hydro tent (3x1.5x5), 250w HPS, 2gal Root Pouch pots, Promix HP, FF Trio when time to nute. Seeds into dirt 8/15....today (8/20) the BB and WW seem to be doing just fine...the LR however might be pulled...the seed never split apart...

thanks for the replies! got everything built and set up yesterday....Decided to mount the fan vertically so the fan exhausts through the ceiling of the box (good idea/bad idea?) With the fan running, the 250 hps on and 3 2.5 inch passive intakes temps are around 95?! gonna have to figure that...

just curious if anyone thinks this will be overkill? Its a cheap-o 6" fan rated 190 CFM. The cab is a custom build 2x2x5. Plan on using a 250w HPS and some auto strains. Noise is a concern for me, so any tips on soundproofing would be greatly appreciated!

Basically I need to figure out the QUIETEST, cheapest, easiest way to vent the heat out of this tent. If anyone is selling a 6in inline fan, or insulated ducting, or have links / ideas I'd love to hear them. It being quiet is the number one issue for me. thanks RIU.

Thanks, alexonfire! Simple and inexpensive is exactly what I was shooting for. I transplanted into slightly larger pots last night, but I don't think I'm happy with it.....we'll see how it goes. So, now they're in 5 inch pots, with FFOF amended with some perlite and just a TOUCH of bone meal...

i guess technically you can say I vegged for just shy of 2 days lol. I did 18/6 until the sprouts came up.

Started a 36 hr dark period today....just to see if it actually makes a difference. Also, decided to cut it back to three (one wasnt making it, and the other two never sprouted). This gives me a little bit more room to work with. Will start 12/12 tomorrow night.

Lince- I have 208 total actual watts of CFL. (6) 26W 2700k and (2) 26W 6500k I'm aiming for a 14g dried per plant (3oz total)....I may LST some or all if space allows.

AMAZING! This is exactly what I'm trying to replicate with some bagseed and a custom cab I built myself. One quick question...how do you go about feeding directly to the roots? I feel there would be ZERO room for error sort of like a hydro setup? Or am I missing something...
