    First time indoor growing!

#1 Never use Ceramic or Heavy pots, the best way to tell when they need water is to lift your pots, hence you do not want some heavy ass 10lb pot. #2 Never plant 2 in the same pot, not only will they rootbound more quickly, if one is male/hermie and the other isnt, you will lose both. (the root...

question about brands of 4" inline fans - cyclone, ipower, hydrofarm active air

I Highly suggest against doing any of that! If you have noise problems and slowing the fan doesn't help, which it isn't going to help a alot, I suggest a DIY muffler made from home depot/lowes supplies for around $50-$80 bucks and attach that onto your exhaust, or build a housing for your fan...

    First time indoor growing!

I always start seedlings with CFL's about 4-6" from the party cups...check out day 1 in my grow journal, you will see that. And always use a 60/40 ratio Soil/Pearlite, creates good aeration (Air to the roots/soil/water)

    power outage, possibly couple days.

Depending on what stage you were in. Flowering, the worst case scenario is that your plants could lag behind/Hermie. Veg...you should be ok. This is nothing that can be 100% answered correctly for you besides that they are not going to die. Worst case again...hermie.

    Yay, first grow!

Yes, they are telling you they tried to deliver. You where not home, so they left the not. As far as topping and fiming plants? I don't recommend it. Just supercrop and LST. There are many tutorials on you-tube of how to do this. Topping in my eyes takes away growth by creating new growth...

    my first GROW PLZZ HELP

This is good advice, but you had asked about putting them into the same pot? Big No-No. If one is female and the other male, it will pollinate giving you seeds, and you cannot remove one plant without damaging the root system of the other. How long you let them VEG for depends on the grow size...

Calcium Deficiency In Week and 1/2 Old Seedlings?? Help??!!

If anything, your soil looks dry. When you start seedlings or clones you want to make sure your having constant moisture in that soil. I would recommend CFL's if you are not all ready, and put them about 1" to 1/2" away, they will not burn. Another thing, make sure you don't transplant until you...

somebody hermed, now what to do? +rep for any help

You don't need nanners or balls to have pollination. I believe what you meant by that is that none of your other plants Hermied or was Male in order to produce the pollen that pollinated the plant with the seeds. I would just let them go, since the plant with the seeds is not going to produce...
