I can see having a trough in the bottom center of the tray where you could put the air stone and that would be the closest to the roots. I think that the roots are getting more oxygen then norml due to the rotation and that it is like a tide with the water in the cube being drawn to the bottom...

CFLs are great for veg. the cri is better then halides the heat is not an issue and you can have many smaller ones instead of one large one and that works better as well

1 is a pretty safe bet seeing as 30 small plants with 15 of those almost too small to count yielding 1/2 lb, and this time we have 60 plants with a few lame ones
