no way. i visit my plants once every two weeks. they do fine with the weather. I'm in new england, the weather here changes alot. you can just put it in a nice wooded location that gets a decent amount of light. water everyonce in a while if they need it and thats it.

if you want big plant go with something a little more powerful than some cfl's and t5's. One 1000 watt hps will only give you about a pound of bud.

depends where your located. Bigger cities would have them but for big grows.
